Impressive, it's very creative how you made an analog nub that you simply place over the x [] o ^ buttons. What's even better is it's a removable accessory and requires no disassembly of the PSP. But I have a few questions. First, how did you get the analog to stay on? Secondly, would this work on a PSP Go? Finally, what materials would I need to make my own?

just use the buttons for walking control use the analog stick for aiming. saves the day.

yeah because when you play a game like the one he is playing the buttons act as a joy stick so if you press x your character will look down or point his gun down so he replaces it with a thumbstick instead

Interesting idea, but technically its just a DIGITAL stick as while it feels analog it will only be detecting up,down,left,right not up 10%, up 20%, etc.

Its also a real catch that your PSP will now be unusable for the majority of games - as you can no longer press two buttons at the same time. Unless of course you figure out how to keep the buttons on there too.

Also, its not going to fit in your pocket anymore either.

lol gj...did you fail? if you want one the same as mine you need a soft bottle cap, some double sided tape, your favourite nubbin off a broken controller, a belt sander (or something less powerful and a lot of free time), some non-slip mat stuff (from bunnings if you know where one is), and a thin piece of plastic from the side of a milk bottle or something similar. then you just need a lot of free time and some very good glue (i used some epoxy bond - pva failed). maybe ill make a tutorial...
