After I blow dry my hair I have wonderful volume, but then if I straighten it out (just to give it that extra smoothness) it goes flat :( Do you have any tips you can give me to keep the volume? I apply the tresseme heat tamer spray before blowdrying but not before straightening because I feel like it's still in my hair so my hair should be protected. Are you supposed to apply it twice?
@Seeratttt I can't remember if I heard someone say it or if I read it somewhere, but you're supposed to use heat protectant before applying any heat, every time. I don't know if it's necessary, but I just do it out of habit now! =)
Has you're hair always been this thin?? I'm from middle eastern descent and have the same hair texture as u and for 3 yrs ive been damaging my hair with my straightener and blowdryer and one day i looked at my hair and hated how thin it had gotten. so for 2 years now ive been trying my hardest to only use heat on my hair when its necessary like pictures and special events and my hair has gain some but not all of its thickness... but u should give it a shot,, not trying to be rude or anything.
What a cool little trick, to finger-twist the hair after it's been straightened to give it more body, rather than adding more heat with a curling iron! You're a genius! :) My hair is really thick, and my current flat iron makes my hair so hot I can barely touch it, so I don't know if I'll be able to pull this off, but I'm certainly gonna try! :)
I don't have curly hair but it is fine, similar to yours I think. Wow!!! After you blow dried your hair, it looked so good just without the flat iron. I blowdry it and it looks all frizzy and big!!! And the front part of your hair looks really good too....someimtes when i feel like it i either blowdry my front to the side or split it in the middle and whenever i split from the middle, my hair does not have that volume like yours does. Love your hair!!! Why do you twist it anyway after straightening it?

It looks like your hair is on the "finer" side like my own, and I wonder how long does this style last for you because you used numerous products? My hair is also curly but I only blow dry once a week, but when I do, I can never get my hair to go onto the 2nd day looking as great because of the products my hair gets flat and oily. Does that happen to you? How do you prevent that? Or do you just do this, everyday? Thanks!

I apply the tresseme heat tamer spray before blowdrying but not before straightening because I feel like it's still in my hair so my hair should be protected. Are you supposed to apply it twice?

@Seeratttt I can't remember if I heard someone say it or if I read it somewhere, but you're supposed to use heat protectant before applying any heat, every time. I don't know if it's necessary, but I just do it out of habit now! =)

Has you're hair always been this thin?? I'm from middle eastern descent and have the same hair texture as u and for 3 yrs ive been damaging my hair with my straightener and blowdryer and one day i looked at my hair and hated how thin it had gotten. so for 2 years now ive been trying my hardest to only use heat on my hair when its necessary like pictures and special events and my hair has gain some but not all of its thickness... but u should give it a shot,, not trying to be rude or anything.

What a cool little trick, to finger-twist the hair after it's been straightened to give it more body, rather than adding more heat with a curling iron! You're a genius! :) My hair is really thick, and my current flat iron makes my hair so hot I can barely touch it, so I don't know if I'll be able to pull this off, but I'm certainly gonna try! :)

I don't have curly hair but it is fine, similar to yours I think. In any case I wanted that brush lab brush when Lolamarie7 recommended it now I NEED that brush like RIGHT now lol.I'm also trying your flat iron & twist method I never like how pin straight my hair is with the flat iron but this looks perfect.
I don't typically like the vids with no voice but this was perfect without a word.

Wow!!! After you blow dried your hair, it looked so good just without the flat iron. I blowdry it and it looks all frizzy and big!!! And the front part of your hair looks really good too....someimtes when i feel like it i either blowdry my front to the side or split it in the middle and whenever i split from the middle, my hair does not have that volume like yours does. Love your hair!!! Why do you twist it anyway after straightening it?

It looks like your hair is on the "finer" side like my own, and I wonder how long does this style last for you because you used numerous products? My hair is also curly but I only blow dry once a week, but when I do, I can never get my hair to go onto the 2nd day looking as great because of the products my hair gets flat and oily. Does that happen to you? How do you prevent that? Or do you just do this, everyday? Thanks!
