I wish Senna had not died just to see himself beaten in 94 and prevent his fans from arguing about how he could recover from 30 point deficit. They were both cheats though. Those who see Senna as a saint should check out 1985 Monaco qualifying when he was crawling around the track after his qualifying run, spoiling other people's laps. People just forgive him a lot for his deep personality.

All wrong! Schumacher got to Ferrari not before 1996, so Senna wasn´t able to overtake him in a Ferrari at this race. As we all know Senna unfortunately died in ´94 ... In this clip he overtook Gerhard Berger who was Ferrari pilot at this time.

@tarkin33 dear friend you are totally wrong. On the first 2 laps Senna overtake Brundle, Patrese, Alesi e Schumacher. On the 3rd lap he overtake Berger and stay on 3rd position until 62 lap, Senna retired because an eletronic failure.

Senna, started 8th, was second on the Canadian gp 1993 behind Prost, but at 7/8 laps to go he lost the race for technical problem on his McLaren and so Schummy was second at the end of the race! this is the real story of that grand prix!

Senna is good overtaking 3 pilots in 2 laps, but Schumacher is the master overtaking 6 pilots (from 12 to 6th) in only 2 laps!! And finally was 2nd in the race!
The first car that Senna overtake in this start, the green and yellow, was Schumacher at Benetton in 1993. After this Senna overtake Gerard Berger, that was in Ferrari this year. Cheers.

People seem to idolise Senna and think he is 'god' especially on Youtube - just because he has left this world. Ayrton was and is one of my favourites but Prost, Senna and Schumacher all have different strengths and weaknesses. Senna wasn't god, he punted Prost out of the championship in 1990 and often had violent perosnality clashes with the other drivers. I personally rate Schumacher and Prost as better technical drivers, Senna had the most intense view and car sense though.

Exactly in Canada 93 the McLaren was on pace with the Williams. Even Berger was in qualifying very close to Prost. So this race is not very good to show Ayrton's quality. Why allways compare those drivers? Most of Ayrton's poles for example he got under complete different rules than M. Schumacher. Quali was Ayrton's biggest strength, Schumacher's strength was in the race, in- and outlap and 15 or more laps at nearly quali pace when it was necessary.
These race was in Canada in 1992. In 1993 by far the McLaren-Ford was behind the powerful Williams-Renault. About the more strong of Senna? Like all the pilots of F1, included Schumacher the desire to win. Pilots with no errors in a race? Only one: Juan Manuel Fangio. In 51 races he never commit a single error, no despite, no crash, nothing. Wining average? Near 50%. Strengths? He desire to win. Schumi had a terrible start to this race and dropped back behind Senna and Brundle before turn 1. The Benetton you see Senna passing out of turn 2 is Patrese. Sennina guarda che la McLaren-Honda di Senna dell 88 e 89 era la macchina più potente del circuito,ricordati che molte vetture erano passate all'aspirato e l'honda ancora usava il turbo. Ricordati che i jap davano la macchina migliore a Senna,perchè faceva più share in giappone la spericolatezza di Senna rispetto a Prost. Negli anni in cui la Ferrari dava 2 secondi a giro alle avversarie (vale a dire 2002 e 2004) di certo non era per l'elettronica ma bensì per l'intero "pacchetto". Nel giornale n°24 dell'anno XLI della rivista Autosprint sul GP del Canada 2002 viene svelato in un articolo a pag 31 che la Ferrari non utilizzava la telemetria bi-direzionale, ma bensi ancora i vecchi manettini sul volante.

Senna, started 8th, was second on the Canadian gp 1993 behind Prost, but at 7/8 laps to go he lost the race for technical problem on his McLaren and so Schummy was second at the end of the race! this is the real story of that grand prix!

@tarkin33 This was the Canadian GP and Ayrton overtook Patrese, Brundle, Michael and Alesi. Later he abandoned the race with electrical problems. What you wrote happened in the same year at Silverstone.

@tarkin33 anyone that questions schumacher's superiority knows nothing about f1 and/or are just fanboys of another driver. no one has ever come close to schumacher's performance with equal ''weapons'', and these are not opinions.. they're facts, and anyone who has watched all the gp's of the schumacher era knows that. Senna is spectacular, though i always found really unfair and annoying how he always blocks other cars from passing him.

The first car that Senna overtake in this start, the green and yellow, was Schumacher at Benetton in 1993. After this Senna overtake Gerard Berger, that was in Ferrari this year. Cheers.

People seem to idolise Senna and think he is 'god' especially on Youtube - just because he has left this world. Ayrton was and is one of my favourites but Prost, Senna and Schumacher all have different strengths and weaknesses. Senna wasn't god, he punted Prost out of the championship in 1990 and often had violent perosnality clashes with the other drivers. I personally rate Schumacher and Prost as better technical drivers, Senna had the most intense view and car sense though.

You are wrong, sorry. Ayrton Senna, was selected one month ago for 218 f1 pilots, since 1950 to 2009 as the greatest f1 driver ever. They are really experts. Just check Mostorsport web site. Exactly in Canada 93 the McLaren was on pace with the Williams. Even Berger was in qualifying very close to Prost. So this race is not very good to show Ayrton's quality. Why allways compare those drivers? Most of Ayrton's poles for example he got under complete different rules than M. Schumacher. Quali was Ayrton's biggest strength, Schumacher's strength was in the race, in- and outlap and 15 or more laps at nearly quali pace when it was necessary.

These race was in Canada in 1992. In 1993 by far the McLaren-Ford was behind the powerful Williams-Renault. About the more strong of Senna? Like all the pilots of F1, included Schumacher the desire to win. Pilots with no errors in a race? Only one: Juan Manuel Fangio. Actually, you're all wrong.
Schumi had a terrible start to this race and dropped back behind Senna and Brundle before turn 1. The Benetton you see Senna passing out of turn 2 is Patrese. Sennina guarda che la McLaren-Honda di Senna dell 88 e 89 era la macchina più potente del circuito,ricordati che molte vetture erano passate all'aspirato e l'honda ancora usava il turbo. Ricordati che i jap davano la macchina migliore a Senna,perchè faceva più share in giappone la spericolatezza di Senna rispetto a Prost. Quando nell'89 Prost pretese che gli fosse cambiato l'ingegnere che curava il suo motore, non a caso le cose andarono diversamente dell'anno prima.

Negli anni in cui la Ferrari dava 2 secondi a giro alle avversarie (vale a dire 2002 e 2004) di certo non era per l'elettronica ma bensì per l'intero "pacchetto". Nel giornale n°24 dell'anno XLI della rivista Autosprint sul GP del Canada 2002 viene svelato in un articolo a pag 31 che la Ferrari non utilizzava la telemetria bi-direzionale, ma bensi ancora i vecchi manettini sul volante.
