I'm a big believer in what Bradley always did.I mean fuck, the guy that brought ska to the UK was bob marley. The skinned picked it up hence:skinhead ska, later becoming punk.Just my opinion though. I know, I know, loose illustration.
@BarrioPunkRock it's spelled STRAIGHT, and that songs has nothing to do with straight edge. and by the way, jeff nelson (which played guitar in minor threat) took drugs every now and then.)
No, im just saying i dont think the styles mix too well. Its a personal opinion and im allowed to have it. Instead of being an extremely clever comment basher, why dont you say something constructive. You are allowed to disagree, and i would have no problem with that. You have some serious growing up to do.
@DroogMonkey Bradley listened to mostly punk as a youth before he got into dancehall/dub/other stereotypical sublime what-not. Punk played a huge part in Nowell's music. to me this makes perfect sense
@BillHicks420 Same here. I loved how he not only was funny, but spoke about things that mattered in the world, and about government and politics. Such a shame he died so young.
yeah, u never know cuz that pic does look super old! but man, i love the fact that they just straight start busting minor threat when thier about to get kicked off.thats so cool, back then they didnt care about who wrote who or whos covering who. they just played what they liked and felt.thats whats so cool about it
