If this series focused only on plot, the stories this season would deal just with the nuts-and-bolts of finding the Stone of Tears...and be pretty flat, IMO.

The series is much richer for having eps like "Broken", "Fury", "Perdition", "Torn", "Hunger" and "Bound", because of their emphasis on the development of the characters and on their relationship to each other.

i think this will totally deepen the relationship of cara and kalhan and maybe they might become like BFF's. So i really don't think this episode is to lengthen the series entirely and even it is , each episode is always tastefully done!:D

As a huge fan of a book series, I've been watching this to see how it goes. So far, I love it. Not as much as the books, of course, but if you keep in mind that this is a kind of "extension" of the universe Terry Goodkind created, you'll find a love for it too! Though... cough... I do wish they kept to Richard's original character description. Oh how I want to see a War Wizard outfit. D':

I really wish Goodkind would take a firmer stance and stand up for what he rightfully owns.. I love LotS, but I would much rather see what's actually IN the books rather than having a series based on the universe and it's characters. If season 2 were more like season 1, having fillers, yes, but mostly keeping with the actual storyline, I wouldn't mind.. but this is just getting ridiculous. I've lost hope in seeing a favorite book series brought to life on screen. =/

When are they getting back to that damn Stone of Tears! A subplot is welcome every couple of episodes, but lately every episode starts and ends with the compass holding.. but the rest has nothing to do with the main story. Starting to annoy me, and I was a huge fan.
