In the book, some settings are in the Philippines... and Mitch Albom uses Filipino words which kinda wrong. like "inas" which he's pertaining to a mother, the correct translation is "ina" . But i really love the way he tells story. I'm a super fan of his works...

the book is about an old man named Eddie who dies and meets five ppl in heaven who explain to him about his life on earth. The second person he meets is his Captain from when he was in the army and this scene is a flashback.

I just finished tyhe book then watched the movie. They were both great but in my opinion i like the book better cause i think the message hits harder.
