  • I'm glad I'm not a Philippine, I'd be so embarrassed.

  • The Beatles were really smart to stop going out on tour. It was all just so crazy and ridiculous at that point...

  • The Beatle most likely to have returned to the Philippines, especially after Marcos had been thrown, was John. He'd have given peace a chance. lol

  • love these guys!

  • Living in Bermuda, I remeber wishing the Beatles would come and visit us. Of course, they didn't because we're a small venue, but these American guys came...calling themselves the "American Beatles" with Beatle haircuts....what a fucked up piece of shit that turned out to be....about a 100 people went!! Who wants to see poor imitations....bunch of pussy's and sooo cheesy...ahahahaha!

  • That Phillippines sounds a craphole glad I never bothered to visit that place but maybe it was the tyrants in charge at the time that gave the place a bad fibe .

  • @Albert18264 People love visiting Japan now yet in WWII that was obviously no place for foreign people to be.

  • Where DO they all come from?

  • The Beatles should hate the president of the phils. before!! ( THE MARCOS REGIME)

i am a Filipino born on 1983 and i LOVE The Beatles more than Steve Vai! they are now my inspiration.

  • wait did george harrison fart at 6:24 lol

  • @IWearMyCapBackwards hahaha I heard it too!

  • Any rightwing flips who still hate the Beatles for standing up Marcos? Go suck some Japanese cock. Beatles forever. I dont hate flips or japs, I just have coarse language

  • @TheAmericanOriginal

Any rightwing nuthead probably hates The Beatles... or don't even know who The Beatles are.

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar Only in hindsight was the Beatles behavior justified. It turned out later Marcos had been oppressing the people down there. Theres loyalists in every country: Bush loyalists, Saddam loyalists, Her Majestys royalists....

  • @TheAmericanOriginal

    Beatles loyalists.... Right?

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar Well yes, people will support a rock group over politicians

  • @TheAmericanOriginal

    I sure as hell do

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar I'm not a lefty and I really enjoy the Beatles. Sorry, I had to break your stereotype

  • @sonic10158 Notice: I said nuthead. The crazy, extremists. Ignorant fools, that sort of thing. Im sure youre a really great guy, and Im glad you enjoy The Beatles like a lot of other people. I didnt mean to offend you. But the ones who got crazy over John's "Jesus" thing are a bit nutty.

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar Ok. I'm sorry, I guess I just overreacted

  • @sonic10158 Its fine mate. Peace & Love

  • im glad they snubed marcos

  • the beatles and philippines -- like afghanistan and free jazz

  • Im a Filipino and i love the beatles..

They should hate the fucking Marcos family (esp. Imelda) not the Philippines.

    BEATLES FOREVER!!!

  • @JohnHeaven18 I agree, but I understand that they hate a lot of the people there for kicking them and booing them

  • @JohnHeaven18 How would you have reacted had that happened to you?

  • @JohnHeaven18 yeap the regime sucked i think the regular people really enjoyed them

  • i love the song "all the lonely peolpe"

    they inspire me

  • @crazycupcake13 that song is actually called "eleanor rigby"

  • Actually, rereading the comments, only one idiot has really sad anything bad. But before it starts...let me assure you, any Filipinos I've known love the Beatles. Sorry that happened, boys. I love the Beatles!

  • I'm half-Filipino and all my uncles, aunts and cousins have always loved the Beatles and they got me into them. I love the Beatles. People on here need to chill with the whole "screw the Philippines" bullshit. I'm sure the part will be coming up about how John pissed off the religious right in America, and that whole crazy backlash. Are the Americans on here going to condemn all of America, and present day America? Of course not. So, shut up. It was a different time.

  • the beatles were on a boat, on a boat, on a motha fuckin boat.

  • they left the marijuana in the bags...HAHAHHA i love the beatles

  • hate the MARCOSes not the philippines...

    love from the philippines..

  • @angelsk93 I think that's what they meant. They're speaking figuratively.

  • fuck imelda marcos and her stupid face

  • the only good thing to ever come out of the filipines was the filipine mahogany wood used to line the inner layers of ringo's ludwig drum kit shells !!

  • funny how one man made ludwig 's black oyster pearl drum kit so infamous, and the most sought after kit from that era, and was responsible for the majority of the ludwig drum company's huge success and incredible sales ! so much so that ludwig reissued ringo kit 3 times in 4 different configurations..incredible ! ringo, along with john bonham of zeppelin are the ambassadors to the ludwig drum company and the rock drum kit !

  • it was Imelda Marcos fault by putting them on that bad situation not the whole Filipino, in fact most of us here are still an avid fan of the Beatles!

  • things are different now. U can comeback now in the philippines. RINGO. SORRY FOR THE SINS OF THE PAST!

  • @batista4871

    it´s too late ))

  • who is that guy at 01:06

  • @vitamalz5 that's neil aspinal, ..he was a close friend , roadie and merchandising supervisor for the beatles, and part of the beatles entourage..

  • The Beatles just came at the wrong time, unfortunately :( to the Philippines.

  • paul got to say you are still good

  • i can't help watching them what a inspiration ohhhh yeah...

  • "we just watched ourselves not arriving" lol

  • I am so sorry Beatles! Philippines was under the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos at that time, and he and his wife had this cult of personality at the time - thus the resulting riots :(

And to think my parents were one of the people who fell for the idea that the Beatles did snub Imelda Marcos. Grr shame on Filipinos.

  • @cleopatraclone El pasado quedó atrás

  • Eleanor Rigby acoustic is spectacular

  • joefixit14!

wat do you meanasian places never really like them?do you mean the philippines?

    im a pilipino.
