I disagree one it lags so bad, you have to keep to good track of your footing while you fight or you end up giving someone an easy kill. Sure in theory and in the concept it's a good idea, but the walls make it impossible to dodge a rant, the scenery is exorbitant... But this may all be do to the fact that I play on uBP.

lol I wish the humans sucked that much in the games I play, but alas, the humans usually pwn. Which is why it's granger all the way for me. Hide behind a wall and trap the humans in a room with blobs and once we evolve and i become an advanced granger, i start charging in and holding down the mouse 2 (bite) and mouse 3 (shoot blob) buttons and start going on the walls and dropping on anything not in a battlesuit. lol

:E Well in the most games what i played aliens win - they pwn humans on s1 and s3. Humans without helmets are easy to kill by goons on s1, and on s3 tyrants pwn(or good snipers). Anyway good thing vs tyrants is the team of two humans with bs and chaingun(some people call this antytyrant suit :P).

lol ive never heard anyone call it an anti tyrant suit...but its true one or two of those can kill anything. And i would like to disagree, humans PWN, the only reason aliens win in public games is because noobs always feed them kills and before you know it theres like 3 tyrants running around.

the humans have a lot more strategy envolved in them and you need to plan that for the long run. the newbies that come to public servers don't know any of this, so they give no thought to it. that's why Humans lose on public servers.

Amazing game , v. nice gameplay . I've been playing it since almost an year now and still have a lot to learn ;) .

Initially don't be dejected by your low number of kills or presence of campers , but if you have the patience and visit decent servers you will soon get addicted to it.

+10 for the wonderful community it has ;).

Each team has several kinds of aliens and weapons that you can buy.

You can play in either team

I tried tremulous, and I didn't like it very much. The humans just camp in their base until they can get decent weapons, while the aliens feed them. Noobs continue to feed the opposing team the entire game, making a public games pointless. There is no minimap, even though the source code for it is available. There are a lot of open source games that spawned off of the same engine, that have done much better. There is also enemy territory, which is free, but not open source.
