  • @boyd3308 haha, but why? a bov is for ricers..diverter valves belong on euro's...vw's n audis. porsche as well, so how am i wrong? that its guna ruin the o2 sensors and possibly the catyltic converter from the rich a/f mix?.. all for that "sweet" sound. if i drove a honda or mistu, id do the bov...but since audi isnt why ruin it unless u gota standalone ems....im not wrong on any account good sir. lol, all viable information.

  • keep it it sounds sick

  • No, this is not normal, however it is a simple fix. All you need to do is replace your DV (diverter valve). It is worn out, causing the flutter sound.

  • compressor surge is the excess boost in your piping trying to turn the compressor wheel the opposite direction that what the exhaust is turning it, go to stratmosphere and order the hyperboost hx diverter valve....dont get a bov, audis rely on that recirculated air for the air fuel mix....dont listen to someone who says blow off valve...garbage on a euro.

  • That "flutter" sound is gonna kill your turbo

  • bov ;)

  • Don't worry, that's a normal sound. It's from the diverter valve on the turbo.
