After high school you are suddenly faced with all these responsibilities that are supposed to make you an adult, and it's much harder to be a kid even though you ARE. I'm 22, and even though I still feel like a kid, I know it may never be in the carefree way it was back then. Savor it while you have it. :3

I started as a an average runner with meagre potential but I determined that I wanted to run Varsity and the only way to do so was to practice with all my heart. the summer of junior year in highschool, my friends and I spent almost every day at teh lake, rain or shine. Even after school strated in september, we went after because we didn't want it to end. That was a better summer than I could even imagine and this song completely embodies it.

I realize that I'm speaking for myself, but this summer I spent every day running with my Cross Country team (in the rain). I started as a an average runner with meagre potential but I determined that I wanted to run Varsity and the only way to do so was to practice with all my heart. All I can say is that listening to this song reminds me that it was worth it in the end.

me and my ex started going out in the middle of september,,we didnt last long but man im in still in love with this guy no matter how much i try to deny it,but ive moved on a have a new guy and hopefully the memmorires will fade,but eveyrtime i listen to this,just brings back so many memories:)

Guys, life is tough when you're young and old. We complain about things being tough in our teens because it IS for us, because it's things we have yet to experience. When we get older we experience MORE things that make it seem tougher and the past is nothing compared to it. No matter how old you are there's gonna be trial and error. You just have to get through it. We all live life once, we all experience pain and hardship. No one has an easy life.
