  • WHERES LOGAN

  • Can u review the BFG 9800gt Ecointelligence 1GB one?

  • @helldrag0n47

the 350w if u dont know XD

  • now thay made a gts 250!

  • one of the great cards ever made.

  • wat i do if i have a 300watt power suply?

    would it work?

  • No, you would need at least a 450 watt

  • no. buy a psu at LEAST 450w. but if i were u, i would buy a 650w

  • i had a 600w with my card and still got squeals. i upgraded to a corsair 750 tx and all is well

  • but if you buy a new power supply, make sure it has a 6 pin pci-e connector and that it is rated for 20+ amps

  • nope

  • 450w and up, But i perfer 550w for bigger cards.

  • 350 or better

  • So i was going to Tri SLI 3 of these together. does this mean i have to have 6 of the 6 pin connecters for power?

  • Yep.

  • yes i'm pretty sure

  • 9800 GTX + still popular nowadays and you can tri sli 9800 GTX + if you buy a custom made ones but it cost 3 times expensive

  • I just found out my card the 9800 GTX+ 1 GB is the current GTS 250 OC 1GB.

  • LOL your right Syphrus, Nvidia has been being sneaky with their branding. They did the same thing with the 8800GT to the 9800GT- it was just a die shrink.

  • is Gainward GeForce GTS 250 2048 MB, PCI-e 16x a good video card?

  • I read a review that it got a few FPS than the 1GB version but won't beat the GTX 260+ Extreme.

  • my 9800gtx+oc dosent have the full cover and only has 1 6 pin connector i thought i was being conned but bfg has registered it so im not sure has any 1 else had this???

  • No, I got only one PCI-e 6 pin connector. I thought it was a bit wierd at first because I have seen two six pin connectors on all the 9800 GTX/GTX+ cards. I looked at the pictures on tigerdirect, I mean compusa, and it only showed one 6 pin connector. My card works awesome, and I am so glad I got it.

  • i own a xfx 9800 gt but i want this card i really dont know alot about computers but if i get this would it b a nice upgrade?

  • i bought it yesterday its so good:D:D

  • 9800gtx suxks im buy today 2 video cards 295GTX SLI

  • ok dude, we get it stop being a show off

  • he was right about the price 160 on newegg now

  • so it says that maximum HDMI resolution (with adapter) is 1080p...... so do you have to buy a HDMI- S-Video adapter for that to work.

  • yes

  • I was going to dual mount two 8800s in SLi but then i just got this card and it runs so much better.

  • 500 watts or not, make sure you have a combined/total of 26amps on the 12V rail.

For those that don't understand, your power supply needs to produce a particular amount of amps. Regardless, most 500 watt psu's would be good enough, however it's possible it's not giving enough power.

A power supply can have more than one 12 volt rail, if so just add up the total amount of max amps, it will say this on the sticker on the power supply. If you don't have at least 26amps, you're gonna have problems

  • mine came with the case, 500watt i see a 28.0A right next to 10A/5A is that good?

  • NIce i really needed that.......But Hay my PS is 300watt's i know thats 2 low but i still turn it on and it worked but for about 1 hr and this card was not even play SR2 i was like DAMN but now i see

  • is this better than the ati radeon hd 4870x2???????????????

  • hell no xD

  • the 4870x2 is like, 2 times more than the gtx+

  • can a gateway FX7020 run this card

  • yes but it already has a 8800 GT whats the point, not a huge upgrade

  • Couldn't you just overclock the regular GTX+ to the GTX+ OC in other words 760 instead of 738 core clock without having to do anything different?

  • ok im confused, someone help me, when i first bought this Gcard from BFG, it was a diff fan, it was the rounded one, i put it in my case, snug fit, but was faulty, and when they shipped me the replaced one, it was the fan we see in this vid, but its not fitting, is there an actual size diff between the two?

  • Can someone help me?

I have Bought this Video Card, I also got a 500 Watt Power supply, I instaslled it and everything, all of it works i play my games really well, but while im playing My game crrashes and my screen goes like boxed and purple and I have to restart my computer every time it hapesn please help!

  • Have you tried re-installing your drivers?

  • I have that exact same problem and i have no idea what it could be, i think it could be a faulty card, maybe even the monitor, and i tried installing the latest drivers for it and still i get tht purple shit.

  • i have galaxy geforce 9800 gtx+,intel dua 2.56 ghz,,4gb of ram,,,,and 700watt power supply...emm,, does it 700 watt power supply is to much for tis graphic card???im noob here,,and my cpu crash becoz my bios overclocking to much,,and i didnt oc ma bios.....y that happen??sory for my bad english...

  • i just got this card but my power supply is only 500wats and it doesnt have the 2 power connections

should i upgrade or is there a workaround

  • if all they did was shrink the die then why didnt they just do that to begin with?

  • I have a normal 9800gtx+ 512MB right now. Would I be able to buy one of these and do SLi with the two cards? Im asking because this one is the BFG version and im not sure if you use one BFG then put, say a xfx or normal version in with it to do SLi.

  • Yes but the second card will underclock to the slowest speed.

  • Can my Gateway GM5442 fit this card in its case?

    Please help!

  • dont even bother, It's a gateway :|

  • I got a decrepit old 5 year old Dell with an old GForce6 card and a twin core P4(Yes I beg you all to forgive my sins for owning a Dell), but I plan to save up $2000 to get a custom built PC because Next year there are a few games I really want to get but want to run crisp as possible. Anyone has any suggestions about how I should go? I tend to favor FPS games and RTS games, so for me frame rate is important, but since I am a sniper I also enjoy a long draw distance.

  • woo im getting this card! a quick question, i have a good quality 750W PSU, if I wanted to by another in the future and run them in SLI, what would I need to upgrade my PSU to?

  • greate review, but what have happend to the benchmarks?

  • meh, its not overclocked that much... u can do it by urself

  • best thing NV has created in awhile! i'll probably keep mine till it deteriorates in a 100 yrs.. runs anything you can throw at it, and Blu-Rays look outstanding!

    :::peace:::

  • okay, now i'm starting getting a little mad on you guys. It's Benchmarking we want to see the most!!..

  • Nice wrong title in intro

  • No benchies, no point to these videos.

  • i want that card in sli!!

  • go do ur mom, nvidia ftw ati sucks!

  • These days very little is different compared to the two major graphics cards you can get, except ATi and Nvidia work better on different motherboards and CPU chip sets. ATi is better with AMD chip sets, always have been. And Nvida are better with particular classes of motherboard.

Before you go acting like some console fan zealot moron who takes sides like a 10 year old on a buss on the way to primary school, know your facts.
