  • My grandfather has a sailboat named the Greyhound. This is kind of her official song. Me and my niece's are named the Lion and the Rose, respectfully, and, as if on cue, we heard Heather's 'Rose and Lion' Here's to you, Heather!

  • This would be a really good song for the Land of Waves(the arc with Zabuza and Haku) or Land of Tea arc(the race, before Sasuke leaves).

  • This song makes me want to haul something with rope.

  • @blu3vibration me too.......

  • Excellent song, Heather Dale is best!

  • does anyone know if the song was based on a historical/mythical event, or just a song?

  • @lasrber heather dale bases her ongs apon mythical folk tales so this is probally one of them

  • @lasrber This was based off of historical events. There were 17 greyhounds. They were all wrecked or renamed then wrecked.

  • Wow, the song is really awesome! ^^ I love it, when she sings "...until it cracks..." it sounds great - and also the line "...Curse the Reaper, bend your back..."

  • I love this song. It's kind of sad, but Dale has such a neat quality to her music. *sighs*

  • Thank you very much for the songs!!

  • You're welcome =)

    Got any requests?

  • Anything new, I don't have any of her CD's, (such a shame!) so basically anything you can post would be nice.

P.S. It's really nice of you to answer everyone who comments!

  • Gotcha =)

And I don't really respond to everyone, but I try to answer most ^^

  • I don't suppose you could upload part 2 of the History of Ealdormere?

  • It'll be uploaded shortly =)

  • Heather Dale's songs are more like epic poems than songs I think, have you heard the Trial of Lancealot?

  • No, I haven't, but I would like to :)

Have you heard 'Tristan and Isoldt'?

  • i love that song :]

  • I have a lyric video of "Trial of Lancelot" uploaded here. That one is one of my favorites! It's a tearjerker, that one.

  • I love celtic music

  • Thank you for uploading this beautiful song! Heather Dale puts such emotion in the way she sings that you feel pulled into her melodies. I can really see The greyhound in her final moments!!

  • agreed, her emotion feeling and tone of voice is magical like a sirens song pulling you in. My favorite artist by far, thank you for the upload.

  • Oh, you both are welcome! I'm glad you like the song, and I totally agree. The imagery and the tone are so intense, it adds a whole other dimension to her work.

  • love the music.^^ I love Heather Dale's music and songs

  • This one's really cool too! But what's it about?

  • It's about a ship that sunk in a storm. Basically, the narrator is saying that Captain Bryce is telling his crew not to think about their almost certain deaths, and instead think about keeping the ship afloat.
