Some of the contestants attitudes towards Africa are completely disrespectful. It's hard to make a judgement about a country after being there for only 20 minutes. This crap about feeling "unsafe" in Africa is stupid. Last time I checked, people get murdered, raped, and stolen from in America too.
Don't get why people attack players for telling the truth - Africa DO sucks to live there, that's why millions from there move to Europe or USA to live......

In the teams' defense, the atmosphere in Senegal did look scary, and there have been times in previous seasons where the drivers try their best to rip people off

@annmb74 It's not really being cheap per se as it's not their money. They are provided with it. However, many times on AR a team has been screwed because they ran out of money so trying to haggle with taxi drivers could help you by leaving you with extra money. I'm not saying you should always do it but if you are short on money then go for it. I think Freddie was being a dick about it but I'm not just talking about him but rather the act in general.

the closest this show has ever come to an accurate depiction of Africa was in season 5, when Gabriel got royally screwed over by a bus driver.
