I do not know why hotels with atriums do not hold their new year's parties in ballrooms; some guests may not celebrate new years; popping, fun as it is, can be deafaning too; sorry, stupidity at worst, but happy new year,anyway.

Brilliant! How long did they last before all being popped? The racket must have been enormous! And much safer than pyrotechnics . . . !
