Itruly agree with Joe Sample.Randy 's songs are better rendered without so much musical trricks, just enough to showcase her amazing voice; and yes,I also agree, with a bit understatement, that she is, although largely unnoticed- America's treasure.

I remember my parents letting my brothers and I listen to the album casino lights. That's when I heard Randy Crawford she has this awesome voice....GOD Blessed her immensley.......I love her spirit she is such a gracious person.....Joe Sample is the man he knows who to go to make a beautiful collaberations.The list goes on and on.....

I caught their show in St. Louis a few weeks ago, but it got rained out after only a few songs!

I have been a fan of Joe and Randy's music since I was a child. Randy's voice literally has not changed! She sounds more amazing than ever!

Really excellent and quintessential Randi and Joe. They are both highly unique and beautiful music makers. Randi, my Dad still talks about the sketches he did of you at JP Morgan's house back in the 70s...at age 95 and still has them in his sketchbooks!

Nice vid. I started listening to Joe w/Crusaders at 16 in 1977 after Free as the Wind. Saw him from Montreaux to Vegas through the years. Friend says he resides in HTown...Randy AND Joe are classic American treasures of Jazz.
