I have to be honest. I never gave much listen to Israel music. This week, we are to learn & play Rejoice. I am so excited!! So much that I have downloaded via i-tunes EVERYTHING I can get my hands on from Israel. I will be playing precussion, and I am in love with the drummer. He has such a gift. Prase God for Israel's vision. You can't keep it unless you give it away.

@atheistdawn obviously you love you're heavy music. i can appreciate the double bass, but i can't handle how most drummers just use it as 16th note fillers. tom is a great drummer. but no where near as technical and rudimentally sound as chris. it's fair to say that tom is great within his style. but i haven't really seen him branch outside of that. chris does it all. the best drummers in the world wouldn't stand infront of him at namm with their jaws dropped to the floor if he wasn't a legend.

Chris Coleman is in my opinion better than big mike. The music from 1:30 - 2:20 is as good as any jazz band out there even though they are playing Gospel.

Im a 47 yr. young drummer (named chris) and i play in 3 "world/street" bands and stopped playing in church 3 months ago. the secular bands are boring and unfulfilling so I went back to where the love is. playing for god. GOD blessed me with the AWESOME GIFT of the ability to play drums. and last week upon return, I was crying b4 the first song and was swetting after the first number. NOTHING IN THIS WORLD BRINGS JOY/PEACE/HAPPINESS/BLESSING LIKE PLAYING FOR-OR-TO GOD.

i agree with all of you guys. i play drums for like an year, and i started at church :p and now i got my own kit, but sometimes i'm playing at church and i do things that a normal drummer (without classes, and with just a year of playing) wouldn't do. it feels so amazing to feel the power of God flowing in your hands :)
