It seems to me that many Americans are afraid of endorsing a change that have potential long term domestic benefit as well as addressing a global issue. Such talk of 'raising taxes' is so short term, that most American's would rather keep the status quo and suffer the longer term issues of higher oil prices, increased global emissions while missing out on a global market of emissions tradng - a global multi-billion dollar business - let's hope the US are on the right track - from Australia
Without a global effort on this climate bill, we will be giving jobs to CHINA!
