Downie is a decent player. I happen to like him, but that's just because he's on the Lightning and that is my home team. The guy isn't so bad IRL. I've met him at a Subway in Tampa, and he signed a napkin for me (I know it's lame but it was all I could find) and actually talked with me for 2-3 minutes while his meal was being made. The guys really nice and smart, he just has a temper, and that is part of what got him drafted up to begin with. Think Konopka but with some legitimate hockey skill.
