As a man aged 60, I've heard so many remakes and versions of the same song, far too many nowhere near as good as the original. However, in this case, in my opinion, Snow Patrol... Great. Leona Lewis....Great. Like 2 different songs as a result of the interpretation and delivery. By the way; Leona Lewis, as a result of her version, bought Snow Patrol to the attention of a much wider and older audience than they would otherwise had. Here Endeth My Opinion!

the fact is she covered a great song, with her own musical style. Unfortunately her style just isn't right for this song. Gary's quiet almost whisper like original rendition is perfect for the emotion the song is trying to evoke. This version definitely isn't as good as Snow Patrol's simply because it doesn't fit what the song is trying to convey.
