@koryan Both are great jackets, it really depends on whether you want a longer jacket (Venture) or shorter and more lightweight (Resolve)

the resolve has carried me through many treacherous storms of snow and rain, keeping me completely dry. plus, it's very comfortable to move freely as i need to in my job. i have not tried the venture jacket, but it has a few additions (the pit zippers) that the resolve lacks. north face saves my life.

Both are great jackets TBH and will keep you dry and get rid of the sweat - it's just down to how you like to look out on the hil ;-)

@markeii I chose the Resolve :) It's a nice jacket. A little short cut, but the fit is nice. Pockets are quite small but I am glad I chose it over the RG1. The current one, which I don't have, is a really much nicer texture (mine is like ripstop, which I dont like), so I would go for the Resolve :D
