  • This sounds like the version from "Don't Stop", not "Kiss Me Deadly".

  • GEN X not generation x ;D

    Steve Stevens on guitar

google people if you don't knowit haha

  • @Rawblah Steve Stevens start playing with Billy Idol until "Billy Idol".

  • rsg = ready, steady go.

  • did they go top 40 ? did billy keep some gen x songs for his solo project.

  • @gailmckennag Yes he still plays night of the caddilacs, ready steady go and this new tour he is gonna play love like fire

  • @sallygirl2066 he did 'rsg' oin that live dvd.awesome.

  • @gailmckennag What exactly does rsg mean?

  • Probably my favorite song from GenX

  • Check out the guitars towards the end of this-great sound as if they are talking to you!

  • What'll I do... when you're gone, too?

  • @TheGreenwoodfamily yeah what will i do

  • love this song i am only 12 years old and i like 70s music or just their music

  • damn :)

  • Generation x were one my fav bands-were fuckin exellent!:)

  • @dekkyboy for me ,they still are.they will always be one of my fave bands. no matter what.

  • Great guitars on this. Unmissable sound of Steve Jones throughout-his guitar is reminiscent of Silly Thing and other Professionals tracks.

  • @deeder2000 Oh, yes. Jones is one of my all-time fave guitarists and this has always been one of my '80s favorites. Guitars you could dance to...who'da thunk it?

  • awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3

  • A little Gen X to get it done. ah ah Ah AH

  • one of my favorite songs

  • love this track, happy days!

  • Billy Idol Rox! XD

  • they lied to us: that it'd be ok, that it'd be alright. it is a fucking lie. there is no right from wrong until you see how it goes yourself. eat, fuck, die.

  • "This is the song for my generation." It totally reflects my thoughts about growing up.

  • Gen X

  • From their last album, "Kiss Me Deadly". I think this song is one of their best and that the album as such is underrated. I love it.

  • Yeah, it is a great album. I still have it on cassette."Kiss Me Deadly" has some great songs on it.

  • Top stuff, mate!

  • @ZLUGGO i totally agree.''happy people'', was great as well.

  • @desamator11

    Top tune, mate!

  • Steve Jones on guitar - give it some bollox my son..

  • Wow, great song!

  • listening to billy idol, and thinking of the death of Michael Jackson, well, one was a total whacked out sexual deviant freak, kept trying to re invent himself over and over again since he kicked off in the 70s, Had failed relationships did drugs, lived through media scandals, and produced timeless reccords, and even defined how an entore generation of people dressed and danced. AND was truly the king of pop. The other was just a flashy dancer who died bankrupt of a drug overdose.

    VIVA la BILLY

  • you're a genius and I love you.

  • Fuck yeah man! I'm hearing ya!

  • I like Kiss Me Deadly.

  • my fav song is triumph on the sweet revenge album

  • Same here, that is a great song!

  • Different version than on the EP that I have. It's a 4 song EP. Dancing with myself, this, mony mony and babytalk. There was an interview with an MTV jock as well.

  • You have the "Don't Stop" EP , I have it too

The Original version of this song is on the

    "Kiss Me Deadly" album

  • I have the " Don`t Stop' EP on cassette. It`s got an interview on it that MTV`s Martha Quinn had with Billy Idol.

  • Wonderful song:) a very great album also,, James Stevenson on guitar^^

  • @codyxiz The Sex Pistols very own Steve Jones overdubbed the guitars on this track.

  • @Coppertunes

Ohh,, I see :))Steve jones was a great musician also :))

  • I need to get a hold of this album as well as the first. "Valley of the Dolls" has some good songs, but they diverted away too much from their earlier material.

  • Probably my favorite Gen X song. Well it`s right up there with "Revenge".

  • I have this Album Gen X Kiss me Deadly on Record at home. I have the complete Generation X Discography on CD though Plus the Sweet Revenge CD. Generation X was great Valley of the Dolls album i'm iffy on though. I thought the first and last album were quite good.

  • billy IS thee love of my life ROCK ON BILLY keep rocking my world

  • hes cool

  • I wish I go back in the time...maybe when Billy started to do his life...music,lyrics...the greatest song what ever he sang...

  • Great tune. Great album. Happy People is a great tune, too.

  • what are the lyrics to the second half of the first verse? "drugs and desire... gas and ice?..... let us....?" anyone know?

  • eneration X kick ass. Punk kicks ass. Back in the day (lol) people my age got pissed off and hit back at society. Then we got grunge, which was like punk with its balls chopped off, but still acceptable. What do my generation get? Emo. Which has no balls whatsoever. I wish I was 19 in 1977!!!!!!

  • You kick ass. Here's hoping there's more like you out there. Today's kids (I'm 36) are pathetic when it comes to music. Hi, Pete Wentz......your mascara is running. Rock on....

  • Nah, it's not even emo, it's pop-punk. Emo (Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, etc) is amazing. Check out some of the early 90's emo bands, they're very good and hold some roots to punk.

  • ME TOo u are fucking right

  • wow! this is good music! billy u rock!

  • the best by GEN X

  • fuckin killer

  • First full normal version, thank you!
