@deeder2000 Oh, yes. Jones is one of my all-time fave guitarists and this has always been one of my '80s favorites. Guitars you could dance to...who'da thunk it?
they lied to us: that it'd be ok, that it'd be alright. it is a fucking lie. there is no right from wrong until you see how it goes yourself. eat, fuck, die.
listening to billy idol, and thinking of the death of Michael Jackson, well, one was a total whacked out sexual deviant freak, kept trying to re invent himself over and over again since he kicked off in the 70s, Had failed relationships did drugs, lived through media scandals, and produced timeless reccords, and even defined how an entore generation of people dressed and danced. AND was truly the king of pop. The other was just a flashy dancer who died bankrupt of a drug overdose.
Different version than on the EP that I have. It's a 4 song EP. Dancing with myself, this, mony mony and babytalk. There was an interview with an MTV jock as well.
I need to get a hold of this album as well as the first. "Valley of the Dolls" has some good songs, but they diverted away too much from their earlier material.
I have this Album Gen X Kiss me Deadly on Record at home. I have the complete Generation X Discography on CD though Plus the Sweet Revenge CD. Generation X was great Valley of the Dolls album i'm iffy on though. I thought the first and last album were quite good.
eneration X kick ass. Punk kicks ass. Back in the day (lol) people my age got pissed off and hit back at society. Then we got grunge, which was like punk with its balls chopped off, but still acceptable. What do my generation get? Emo. Which has no balls whatsoever. I wish I was 19 in 1977!!!!!!
You kick ass. Here's hoping there's more like you out there. Today's kids (I'm 36) are pathetic when it comes to music. Hi, Pete Wentz......your mascara is running. Rock on....
Nah, it's not even emo, it's pop-punk. Emo (Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Moss Icon, etc) is amazing. Check out some of the early 90's emo bands, they're very good and hold some roots to punk.
This sounds like the version from "Don't Stop", not "Kiss Me Deadly".

Great guitars on this. Unmissable sound of Steve Jones throughout-his guitar is reminiscent of Silly Thing and other Professionals tracks.

From their last album, "Kiss Me Deadly". I think this song is one of their best and that the album as such is underrated. I love it.
