  • omg hes an amfibian he needs water he will get dehidrated and die quickly feed him on normal worms dig them up and feed it to him and also put some baskinn rocks in baskin means racks he can lay on the rocks have to be higher than thewater so when he doesnot wat to be in the water he can go on the rock ..you dont need a filter..WARNING DO NOT USE TAPWATER IT CONTAINS CLORIEN IT IS LIKE DRINKING ACID TO THEM AND IT WILL KILL HIM USE BOTTLED WATER OR WATER FROM THE LOCATION.....

  • hows your frog

  • @hugoooo45 i gat a new account, he died a week after i got him :(

  • I have a southern leopard frog I caught for school and I have had him for a few days with potting soil half across the tank and a water in the other half, all in a ten gallon tank. I kinda terrorized the plants at the apartments, lol, and took a bunch of leaves and shit to put in the tank. He has a food dish with mealworms and anole food that I have been feeding him everyday.

Probably a bigger tank if he grows up, though.

  • you need to buy a 10 gallon tank and make a slope for it to go on land

  • you may need to change tanks, frogs like vertical tanks so they can climb but its no biggy, umm try gettin coconut bedding youll need a water dish & twigs and sticks so the bugga can climb on. this guy will eat baby crickets as long as the food can fit in its mouth, try it with flies but pull the wings off, hope i helped

  • Hahah thta was funny! umm i have no idea when you posted this video on, but you should put dirt across the bottom of it but noy all the way, leave a bit for a little pond, because most frogs like living near water. Also, put some sticks and leaves for him to climb on and hide under and rocks in the pond so he doesnt drown! and to make him even more happy, keep the tank warm and moist. p.s. hes VERY cute! xx

  • i have a lepord frog i started off with ur tank i put mud moss and water for a week i got a 30 gallon

  • kl ok thank u very much

  • can you catch any ol frog an look after it ?

  • ya but it may not live very long

  • Hi Craig.

  • Sand is a bad idea for a leopard frog. It gets all over their skin and when they shed, they injest a lot of it. It gets in their eyes and could scratch their corneas.Soil or moss are better options.

  • You can also use river sand.

  • You need a 10 gallon tank, with soil on the bottom and a water dish for water, as the water gets dirty when the frog uses it, and you have to change the water every day. You need to take the chlorine out of the water, or use day old water. Mealworms only twice a month, use waxworms, sm earths, and baby crickets, dust with calcium 2x a month. For now, best to use a paper towel on the bottom and an ashtray for a water dish, so you can easily keep it clean. Change the towel and the water every day.

  • thx i got a 10 gallon yesterday
