Everytime I go into a man's clothes shop I would have big trouble working out what year it is; there's absolutely nothing different in men's clothing to what it was 10-20 years ago and I am quite sure old stock is re-rolled out a year or two later as new stock. Colours are predominantly dark and boring, fabrics are the same. I like individuality and I think clothing manufacturer's should market properly to change the way men look or at least give them more choice. I like skirts, they look good
Transport your mind into the body of the average teen - thirty-something, especially a black dude who hangs around in "urban" areas and lives in a very upper-middle class, fairly conservative area. It's just too much hassle, assumptions and stigma.
But given the decline of "masculinity," hopefully it can't be long.
Don't forget who does their damndest to make the environment hostile towards a man in a skirt---the so-called "mental health professional," psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers with their garbage talk about cross dressing and transvestism. They are out to enforce a status quo, they do NOT "diagnose disorders." They certainly do trace DIRECTLY to witch hunters and Roman Catholic Inquisitors torturing and murdering everyone they dislike! Then there's the STUPID preachers & Deut 22:5!

Las faldas protegen de la impotencia, esterilidad, problemas de prostata, y posiblemente del cancer del testiculo. Haha. loved it. I'm a full supporter of men in skirts. I just bought my first couple of American made kilts this summer and love them. So what if people stare. Their is going to be a bit of resistance to men in skirts at first, but with exposure and over time it won't be much of a concern.

Women usually have no problem with this whatsoever. Most men, however, are stuck up and won't evolve. For that reason, sadly, the concept will never catch on regardless of a few who will dare go out of the box.
@pteJames Kilt is essentially the same thing as a skirt. Saying that "it's a kilt!" is just a way for men who are afraid of being perceived as "feminine" to "masculinize" a piece of clothing that is essentially a skirt, but for men.

Let's be honest, it makes more sense for men to wear skirts than women.
Women are forever trying to protect their modesty (well I'm sure some do) where for men:
More space to let it hang, important to keep the lads cool.
More conveinience when you need to drain the lizard.
More comfortable than having your meat n two veg scraping along a seam all day.
Not like we give a shit if our "modesty" is comprised either.

@pteJames A kilt is a type of skirt. That's nothing to be ashamed of or get defensive over. Other kinds of skirts should also be acceptable for men.
