It's not that i'm spiritually blind. It's that i'm hoping to ask questions that no one has asked, but just accepted. spirituallity is one thing, believing that there are things that we don't know should be basic, but i really believe that this song and the like are horrible because the reinforce horrible habits of indoctrination. listen to the words..."Open the eyes of my heart, Lord"...meaning open my heart (and my mind, if you will) to you. It makes sense if you believe in the Lord. And it's not like we don't want to see, it's more like "I don't know where to look for you Lord, please open the eyes of my heart so I can see you."
