There was another better version done by Rick Neufeld , a Manitoban native who made this song a hit in 1969/70. If anyone has his version, please post it. Thanks
@samk1101 Yeah, we have too much Canadian content for some people but in the words of The Arrogant Worms "Forgive us we're Canadian, and some might think it's planned
But there's no where that we'd rather live....
Than this vast and frozen land!"
What you don't know is that every province and territory west of New Brunswick (about 85-90% of Canada) has had colder record cold temps than Manitoba - it's a cool country.
@gottselig2004 Finally someone called me on that one. But I stand behind that statement (I said record low temps). Most of Canada has had colder record lows than Manitoba - see details inside.
@rsensorat4 Ive live in most places in Canada through the years and northern Manitoba is freezing cold as i rem but its all relative as i sit here in NS sitting at 13 degrees today lol.
Anyway the Bells were a great Canadian group for the times
Yes. Back. Needed my fix! LOL

I thought you pulled this, and left YTube?
If so, welcome back.
To the American that wanted the 45 vinyl?
Ask my ex-wife. She kept all of my music.
(including a CD of The Bells) :(

@johnyoungstewart Nope the 'Toba channel is back. As for letting your ex-wife scoop your classic vinyl . . . how could you let that happen jys?

@The1967Vin
I did some research on this song (because I love it SO MUCH). There were several versions:
1968/1969 - single by The Five Bells (also on youtube) unavailable on CD(?)
1971 - album version by The Bells (same group, only changed name) - THIS version available on "The Get Easy! Sunshine Pop Collection"
1990s(?) - rerecorded version released on CD available on "Best Of The Bells - 20th Century Masters"
