Do you understand where I'm getting at? Switch isn't more difficult, it just takes more practice. There are a lot of skaters who do their switch flips as consistent as their regular flips, or even better.

So i'm not really familiar with skateboarding but these tricks are pretty low level arn't they? Does doing them on this course make them harder? Reason I say this is because I've watched Rodney Mullen videos and he does tricks at least 3x harder.

@ParagonalForce The issue is that it's a competition, and to get a high score the riders can't really have many/any bails in their run, so they're going to be throwing tricks they know that they can do at least somewhat consistently. Mullen's tricks are definitely ridiculously hard, but they also probably take him many more attempts, as well as most really hard modern tricks, something that wouldn't be ideal in a comp setup. Some of these tricks are quite hard though.

@ParagonalForce there are several different types of skateboarding - you can either be pro and contestant -and compete in the X games etc. or you can be freestyle and just do whatever you want.

This is pro skating - street style. So theres not much flexibility to just stop and do some random trick in the middle of the game. You're competing for first place.

Rodney mullen created 28x+ trickes and he changed skating completely. But ryan is a decent skater - career wise. Theyre both awesome :)
