This video was very helpful! I'm only 15 and i suffer from ovarion cysts and the doctors always just drug me up. At this point i wish they would just perform surgery to relieve the uncomfortable- ness.
I was diagnosed with 2 ovarian cysts a few days ago. One was 4.5 cm and had ruptured and caused pain for 4 days. The other one doesn't seem to cause any problems just yet and is 2cm at this stage. I have never had any problems with ovarian cysts in the past. I am 29 years old and stopped taking the pill 5 months ago. Can this be the cause of the cysts? Would this effect getting pregnant? My doc told me to get another scan in 6 weeks.
I am a bit scared as to how the development then will be.
About 90% to 95% ovarian cysts are benign, this means that they are not cancerous and were formed due to the normal ovary activity. As mentioned in the video, the minority of cases will have extreme dangerous symptoms.
