I love this advert - reminds me of Czech animation from my childhood.

The music and design is wonderful. I especially like it how the advert ends as it begins - you see the parents at the beginning and at the end the daughter has just been noticed by a gentleman in the carriage.

This piece by Elena Kats-Chernin has a couple of versions on different cd's. The version which is orchestra and soprano used in the ad is "Eliza Aria" from the Wild Swans cd, ABC classics (Australian label). The other version which is for piano and violin is spelt differently and called "Eliza's Aria" on Ragtime & Blue cd from Signum Records. You can also see this at her myspace.

nice one mikedamman i have been searching around for this one .for the person who wants to know. this version of elena kats-chernin, eliza's aria is supposed to be the version by the tasmanian syphony orchestra and is from the Wild Swans Concert Suite cd .and seems to be very very hard to find .

Unless you take note of the Train's name being The Black Horse.

I thought it was an ad for Virgin Trains or something.
