This game was ssooooo awesome!!! and very well done i mean a hack and slash with an army and huge battles involve is amazing and i know Dynasty warriors does this too but ya get what i mean.... its still a dam shame that it might not get a sequel :(

This game focuses mostly on action, and the battles are more largely scaled. Games pretty long too.

And dragon age 2 was garbage. First was good though.

The game was a fresh start in Norse mythology. It got a bit repetitive with freeing captured norsemen, but its still quite interesting. I think more could have been added. Lets hope they move on to celtic mythology!

Yep. 100% true. The Viking Empire was as large as the Roman empire, and unlike the Roman empire, It didn't fall. The Vikings even helped crush them. The Original Viking empire made by the Scandinavian Vikings DID fall,, though, but only to other Viking clans. The Irish, Scottish, Swedish, welsh, and others took their empire, but it was still owned by Vikings. And if you'll note, ALL of those lands are still here today. SO in reality, the Vikings were NEVER conquered. VIKINGS FTW.

@ReconTrout eh...they were barbarian tribes. they didn't have an empire. the closest they got to an empire was the kindom of Norway near the end of the viking age. 900Ad-1100Ad. The Kindom of Norway was basically Norway as it is now...very small, and it ddn't have an true soldiers...just tribesmen that banded together to invade brittain...the empire concept was only taken up by Christendom...and Rome, and Greece (By ways of Europe)

By "empire" I mean "territory under their control". Not necessarily a large legion of well trained soldeirs who controled a well developed kingdom. And, actually, they did have true soldiers, not just tribesmen, later on in their time period that is. Thier version of kings and fiefs started to form, mainly forming the contries that make up today.

I say their territory was a large as Rome's LOOSELY. Counting oceans, for both Rome and Vikings, the Vikings did rival Rome, though nowadays people dont say an ocean belongs to them, back then, they did.

So no, they were not generally from Norway. I dont know what the norwegian teachers teach you nowadays, but the vikings did not only come from Norway. Denmark was a powerfull Vikingnation too. After all, we did rule england for 30 years.

Don't forget many of slavic warriors sailed with Vikings, especially in later period. There were more Slavs than Scandinavians. 100% sure the arrow which killed king Harold in Hastings was from slavic bow... :(
