I Didnt have a big wart like that but i had a small one on my foot used nail clippers today to get rid of most of it but there is still like 3 - 5 tiny black dots which i know are seeds so i watched this seeing if u dug through the skin im like on the thinest layer of skin one more clip and its a blood bath so i guess ima get it frosted

I literlly JUST ripped my wart off my foot, it looked like charcoal, it was like black and shit, and I was listening to my ipod and i put my two thumbs on the side and pressed it, and i guess it ripped a hole in it so i just removed the rest of it, and like there is literally a hole in my foot, like you can stick your finger in it (that's what she said, lol) and touch the flesh undernethe, i just put neosporne and a band-aid on and i'm hoping for the best

whatever method you use care must be exercised not to damage the surrounding skin, because the wart gets bigger, or you can get a cluster of warts, called a mosaic wart, and they're harder to eradicate. A G.P. surgically removed one from the palm of my hand after freezing it, there was some physical discomfort, but in the long run it hasn't re-occured, nor was there any scarring.

CAUTION: I used compound W or something similar and taped over the wart on the ball of my foot.The next day the wart was gone along with all my skin down to the muscle.It hurt like hell to the point the podiatrist felt it necessary to put me on demerol and sleeping meds til I got over the worst of it.The doc said this is quite common, as most wart medicines dissolve more than just the wart.The worst part was I hurt so bad I couldnt enjoy the demerol.

We know, its the same way when you get a sun burn. With sun burn if you don't peel the skin when it begins to bubble your allowing the skin underneath to mature. So when your burnt outter layer comes off the skin underneath is not so sensitive.

this is how i removed mine when i was like 14. grabbed a pair of nail clippers; cut away at the tissue around it, lifted and just yanked the sucker right out. i was left with a hole that stung for a few minutes and healed nicely and a cone shaped (nasty) warts what popped out. no ice. just yank the thing out.

hey i've been going to my family doctor for the past year with weekly treatments of liquid nitrogen on 6 big plantar warts.....in the past year i've had 2 HUGE blood blisters that have formed which has delayed treatment for a month. Every 3 days remove all the nail polish before soaking foot in the ACV and the shaving, but other than this brief time...keep the wart covered in the nail polish (duct tape does not stay stuck well enough to work. And to avoid getting plantar warts. wear flip-flops in public shower areas or pools, and avoid going barefoot anywhere: even around the house. Slippers are your friend.

the idea is to suffocate the wart, it needs oxygen to survive. But here is a treatment I used and it worked on a stubborn quarter sized plantar I had for 5+ years. Soak wart in apple cider vinegar for 1 hour every 3 days, dry area, using a disposable razor shave the area flat and throw razor out. The apply nail polish and cover wart completely to suffocate it. Let the polish dry completely before wearing socks or shoes. In 8 weeks my wart was gone. The nail clipper is contaminated:a no no

@StaticJolts i actually used a treatment about a week ago for a period of three days. it contained salicylic acid and lactic acid. it worked and made a thick big circle around the wart which is basically dead skin. i took all of the dead skin surrounding the wart and now i have an end result where i meet ( im not sure) the root of the wart face to face. since it's not dead skin, i can't dig into the core of the wart, otherwise there will be pain. should i just do the next step and suffocate it?

all the duck tape does is suffocate the wart. with out air or moisture the wart will start to die. If you catch a wart fast enough, you can slam some ducktape on there for a few days and it will go away.

@IcutepoisonI well ive had mine for a few months now and ive used the Compound W and band-aids lol....and my fingers and a nail filer lol so what i did was follow the instructions on the box, dry them, use the nail filer to "rough it up" that means to expose the wart, then you want to put the product onto (all) the wart(s) and then put a band-aid over it...yes it burns your skin; all of the products do haha...now wait for a few hours, (6 or more) then repeat! i hope this helps XD

I had one in between my big toe and second toe. raised and hurt like hell, tried everything and nothing worked until it just fell out one day. I'm starting to wonder if it was a wart, it did have a callus feel and black spots so I don't know.

as for treating them, you can shave off the raised surface with a steel nail filer but remember to clean it.

The duct tape doesn't allow the wart to breath....but the more you pick at them the more they spread. :( You need to freeze them off. Liquid Nitrogen, ask a Doc. If they're open when they do it (from picking) as I had, it will hurt. but they will heal faster.

I think its called plantar because plantar warts commonly grow roots into the skin...hence the name plantar.

I bought dr scholls products like the disc pads. after a few weeks it got out, lol there was dead skin around it thn i peeled it off(not painful at all) i dont know if it was the root but the bottom was grey, curved and rounded, plus it had marks and i think blood vessels. Just to clear something up. There is no "reaction" with the duct tape any tape will work. The wart is aerobic which means it uses oxygen to thrive. Say if you cut your wart off but the roots are still there, duct tape it, and it will usually not grow back. Once you remove tape and let oxygen to the wart it will then grow back.

plantar warts come back so easily because they're often caused by an 'internal virus', therefore removing them superficially is often successful for only a short time, they must be treated with an antibiotic. I had 4 surgeries for them before I was 5 and even today I'm scarred because they literally removed all the flesh of my left heal as I started with one big one, 5 grew back, they operated, 12 returned, again then 15 came back..they didn't know it was a virus that causes some of them..
