that happen to me when I first fully root it and had to write down your user name and put it back when error 16 happens that means you have erased your sprint profile putting back ur user named should getting working

Yea I had that problem they reset something over the phone and fixed three problem

I used to work at sprint til I got a new job like 5 months ago...I was a sales person but I have tons of techinical knowledge (hence the new job) most of the techs there do not know shiiiiit! They troubleshoot via a ticketing system that tells them what to do ..most don't even know how to root or what it does other than gives you the ability to put free wifi lol! They do not care and I can tell u that for a fact...so if u have to exchange it, just take it in...

I'm not sure that Sprint cares so much about rooting. The sales person I talked to when I bought my 3D told me that his 4G was rooted, and we talked about how to root the phones.

@tomperanteau Right, the whole time at the Sprint store, I was telling him my evo 3d was overclocked to 1.7Ghz, rooted, free wifi tether, yeah they dont care.

@zedomax Yea, same here. I was the senior engineer in Houston that built out the system there, and so I know how to talk to these people when I go into a store.

They really don't care, and they should not. The hackers don't break anything, but they improve things. Sprint and HTC should be happy to have the hackers helping them correct things.

I never got error 16 on my phone. Was ur phone rooted with the HTC method when u got that error? I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
