The Supreme Court's decision in Muehler v. Mena, 544 U.S. 93 (2005) upholds that police officers do not need independent reasonable suspicion to question an individual about her immigration status during the execution of a search warrant, but that such inquiry constitutes "mere police questioning" so long as the detention was not prolonged by the questioning.

US Code of Federal Regulations, TITLE 32 PART 215.4 says, "
Under the Constitution and laws of the United States, the protection of life and property and the maintenance of public order are primarily the responsibilities of State and local governments. If the states or counties fail to perform their responsibility, or a conspiracy prevents that performance, then the Federal Government may assume this responsibility and temporarily suspend the Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C.1385).
Article 1 Section 10 of the US Constitution says, [PARAPHRASED]
"every state in the union, shall, without the Consent of Congress, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, or engage in War, when actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay."
Article II, section 3, of the US Constitution, says "The President, shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."
Article 4 Section 4 of the US Constitution says, "every state in the union, is responsible to every state in the union, for securing our union against invasion."
The blatant, arrogant flaunting of contempt for authority & for the well being of the population that they disserve, not to mention their hateful attitudes, that these pigs so frequently display, is what will bring them down. The Arizona law SB 1070 as amended by AZ HB 2162, ,is founded in the US Constitution Article 4 Section 4.
Arizona is avoiding the federal government having to use Martial Law
--32CFR501. Arizona is using Posse Comitatus--32CFR215.4.
Any state ridiculing Arizona, or not following the lead of Arizona, should secede from the Union.
