i dislocated my shoulder when i was 9 i was cryiing like crazy and now i dislocated it hitting a wall i left it like it a popped it back in im 13 and it just happend recently
i have dislocated my right shoulder 6 times and my left shoulder 1 time ehich was actually yesterday in a powder puff game....and it one time did it trullly hurt and the pain was unbearable
i recently dislocted my shoulder and really upset about it, its much like of being hadicapped, im doomed,
anyway, if you dislocated your shoulder just send me a message, i really want to benefit from your experience, as already worried about it, the internet stories are crazy, you read how many times people re dislocate their shoulderss..
my shoulder was sore for a couple weeks then i was doin wide pullups and about 7 reps it popped i went to the doctore c ouple hours later and they said it wasnt popped out but all the muscles were torn, they said it could have popped and went back in my itself .
I dislocated my shoulder when i was standing on my arms and going backwards. there was a t-shirt on a flour and i put my right arm on it and it slipped and my left arm went behind my head, but when i was falling i somehow rolled over very fast and it poped back, after weak i started to train it with weights and its ok now, only sometimes i have light pain in it for a short period of time :)
I dislocated my shoulder 17 times from the age of 18, i eventualy had surgery after years of physio. The surgery went well now over two years ago. After a couply of years i have limited mobility which can be a bit annoying especialy for swimming even after the operation the shoulder will never be as new, just hopefuly will never dislocate again and the limited mobility is well worth it no pain, you just always know its not 100% but far more comfortable than dislocation.
I did mine 6 months ago and after unsuccessful physio have re-dislocated it 8 or 9 times since then - had my MRI and Anthro-whatever scan today and once I get back to my orthopedic surgeon we will figure out when and what type of surgery I will need.
I really want to get the recovery right and get back into playing sport! (basketball) any words of advice for the rehab program?
I dislocated my shoulder in a ski accident while vacationing in Vermont. I was taken to a hospital in an ambulance and I remember laying on a bed when an IV was inserted into my veine.
The next thing I remember is opening my eyes and my wife standing next asked me if I was ready to leave. Apparently, the doctor had fixed the problem and I had absolutely no recollection of that happening.
The pain killer I was given may have had a hypnotic side effect.
I also dislocated my shoulder in hockey Jan. '05 and had no probs til it just randomly came out yesterday in a no check hockey league of all things. hopefully i can go back to rehab an start all over again with no surgery.
I also wanted to add that everyone is different and every shoulder dislocation injury is different. Perhaps I had a subluxation (partial dislocation).
But to P4RR1SH, if you dislocated the shoulder because of sneezing then the muscles are super weak and you either need to have surgery or really really strengthen them.
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER!!! BUT I LOVE MY MOM AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE ANY CHANCES! If you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours
Im also scared about surgery mine once dislocated because of snezzing can you believe that? Also it had not dislocated for a while but yesterday it did while I was swimming I was afraid I would drown. Do you think that therapy and excersice could stop it??? I need help!!!
I dislocated my shoulder once playing hockey (8 months ago) -- I got checked into the boards playing ice hockey. After 3 weeks in a sling and 4 weeks of therapy, it hasn't dislocated again yet (knock on wood) and I have been actively participating in sports such as hockey, soccer, and also doing pull ups and push ups again. My doctor told me it should be almost as good as the healthy shoulder if I keep strengthening it. So, I tend to disagree with your post -- surgery is not always necessary.
I dislocated mine playing ice hockey. Took a hit. When a shoulder dislocation happens, some small bone breaks. But no, I didn't tear any major ligaments or muscles. Maybe I just pulled them, but I don't know. They took an X-ray, but that was about it. I was sent home with a sling. Being in an emergency room sucked though, but it wasn't that bad. Obviously, there are different degrees of shoulder dislocations. Some are more serious than other.
i dislocated my shoulder a couple of weeks ago, but since then it redislocates like evryday so i need surgery but im so scared, i hear its a painful and horrible recovery.
my shoulder will disloacate if I put my coat on to quickly, when I have a siezure, or if someone put thier weight on my shoulder. My dr says I need physical therepy.. I think I need surgery.
Ya, it's definatly worth getting surgery, mine dislocated 12 times in 3 years before I finally got a surgery to it, it's been almost 3 years since and it never happened since!!!
Yes i did have to get surgery and once its liek that it will NEVER be the same until you get it repaired. The expierence wasnt that fun but it was definatly worth getting surgery.
what if it pops out then bak in

no, once you tear the ligiments in your shoulder they will never heal, they have to be sewn together. believe me the surgery is worth it!
