there are so many pop culture icons and non-sequitur references in these paintings that i really dont think it makes sense for you to glorify the location that the puddle was at...ya know what im sayin?...i think the use of nature, puddles, chance, dirt, serendipity and brute handeling of maerial to acheive the initial marks are really great inspiring and intuitive and in fact have been strategies that i have approach and incorporated in my work for a bit...but to provide a valide critique......

The Artist is in the world to give artistic expressions for, of and to meaning so that the audience is compelled to refocus and perhaps appreciate, else reject the interpretation one has held up to the point of interaction.

Different people can read different "message" into this created art-form. I think Puddle Art is truly original. Yet the Establishment may take it aversely that it may carry a negative political message! Still, "a cat (or an artist) can look at the king." :-)

I like your work, particularly at their early stages with just the faint indication of figures and faces.. Lived in London 1966-67. Wild times...."Blown -up" was filmed in Chelsea the year before I lived just off Smith Street and met Mary Quant!!!
