@ribqueen well she cursed herself as beast in disguise since she's cursed by the family ring. So if a man loves her just the way she was no matter what who or what she is, then the girl is free from her disguise and is free to be the former girl she is.

@Sarah276602 nah, i don't think you get the story. she only put on the straggletag coat because it was her protection from other people's classism, pride and traditionalism getting in the way of finding a marriage based on authentic love. it's no more a "curse" than when a rich person decides not to show how rich they are so they can find nonexploitative friends and lovers they can trust. but seriously, thankyou so much for putting this up! i love this so much that i gush every time i watch it.
