It's not all about numbers. This tune probably means a lot to people because it's not only a really well produced piece of music but has some pertinent lyrics. Kanye and Pete Rock do there thing, which is extremely popular, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna start riding there cocks and disrespecting every other artist who doesn't do what they do.
yeah, i just clicked this song to tell these fools to get the fuck outta here
this track & Forever and a day shits on 90 pacent and thats real. Ima jus go out on a limb and say copy write doper seriousness than punchlines and if u dont agree, your a clown who actin outta pocket.
loving the name sage francis and akrobatic you from mass or RI good look supporting local hiphop i met sage and akro a few times both mad kool when i used to dj college radio

I bumped this all the time when i was on the Moniter Tss fuck man Every time I lisen to this It make's me think So hard CORE COPYWHRITE AND RJD2 creative
@alexdelgiudice1 youre really going to hold it against rjd2 because he isnt as good as pete rock? thats ridiculous. rjd2 may not be a legend, but that doesnt mean he isnt a star.
the whole last verse he's talking about his dad. apparently his dad died in June "it also sucks we had to share the month of june", which is also when his birthday is...sooo "each month i celebrate my birth, i'm reminded of your death"
You dont know how happy i am reading all of these comments that say exactly what i have been thinking the past 6 years or so :-D 5/5 once again for RJ
Copywrite is so sick in this song, it's one of the few old RJD2 songs where I wish the rapper actually spit more verses over his beat, because in most cases RJD2's beat would outshine the rapper.
This is AMAZING.

I don't like how it pauses for a few minutes, other than that the lyrics were said with enough emotion to make my ears take out their wallets.

This song made me want to write, I used to burn this and listen to this in highschool during tests, I would end up writing lyrics and never passing.
I wrote 150 bars when I should of been passing, lost in my head

I think this why 'June' is such a showcase track, RJ's beats can easily hold their own but he doesn't overpower Copywrite's delivery.
