  • vv they just have different styles...they both play a golden role in the culture of HipHop.

  • rjd2 is a really dope producer, but premiere is easily the best producer

  • This song made me want to write, I used to burn this and listen to this in highschool during tests, I would end up writing lyrics and never passing.

I wrote 150 bars when I should of been passing, lost in my head

  • It's not all about numbers. This tune probably means a lot to people because it's not only a really well produced piece of music but has some pertinent lyrics. Kanye and Pete Rock do there thing, which is extremely popular, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna start riding there cocks and disrespecting every other artist who doesn't do what they do.

  • One of THE best songs to ever come out.

  • RJD2 is amazing

  • In my opinion, this is one of the best songs ever made

  • i fucking love copywrite

  • Has anybody heard Copywrite's new song featuring Andy Kayes?? It's a classic!

  • i love this honest rap

i can relate to this a lot

  • Dead ringer is probably one of the most overlooked album in history, should be a classic by now.

  • hi

  • Listening to this song as I write this...This song just gave me the strength to try and beat these hard times...

  • check out the new copywrite interview on hip-hopkings[dot]com

  • This is his best song

  • yeah, i just clicked this song to tell these fools to get the fuck outta here

this track & Forever and a day shits on 90 pacent and thats real. Ima jus go out on a limb and say copy write doper seriousness than punchlines and if u dont agree, your a clown who actin outta pocket.

  • This has to be one of my favorite songs ever. The lyrics are real and the production makes it that much better.

  • Re-released yesterday, nice...

  • the last line is amplified in feeling, by the production, props to RJD2 & Copywrite

  • I was a senior in high school with this cd

BUT RJD2 is one of the best producers of all time!!!

  • classic.

  • @DrVonNostrand Lmao

  • @DrVonNostrand wow ur crazy 58 likes for that?? i dare you to compare rjd2 to fuckin pete rock or even kanye west.

  • @alexdelgiudice1 youre really going to hold it against rjd2 because he isnt as good as pete rock? thats ridiculous. rjd2 may not be a legend, but that doesnt mean he isnt a star.

  • @DrVonNostrand the probably is the part "is one of the best" rjd2 IS the best producer of all time

  • A milestone

  • I really love this song, it gives me goosebumps as well.

But he says "each month i celebrate my birth i'm reminded of your death"

Is that a double meaning? cause im sure birthday's come around once a year.

  • ummm...listen closely man!

the whole last verse he's talking about his dad. apparently his dad died in June "it also sucks we had to share the month of june", which is also when his birthday is...sooo "each month i celebrate my birth, i'm reminded of your death"

  • just because they both happened in the same month i guess thats why he says that

  • Comment removed

  • damn dude are you serious? i know the beat is dopeness mixed wit beauty...but try and pay attention to the lyrics..

  • "Each month I celebrate my birth, I'm reminded of your death"

This line gives me fucking goosebumps

  • i get the same feeling with

'in this for life till my final mic check is cashed'

i think its the way the beat is set up...it makes both lines 10 times more powerful

  • easy list of defo check outs

    1.) DIABOLIC

    2.) JMT

    3.) BeKay

    4.) Ill BIILLLLL

  • good to see some sick underground artists teamin up on tracks.

    great up

  • I hear he's re-releasing this album with a few extra tracks unreleased

  • I haven't heard that.

He told me he's dropping a new album SOON though, and he's also working on another LP with some other people...

Also if anyone cares, Jakki Da Motamouth is working on a new album :D

  • I love this song

  • rjd2 paints a dark canvas for copywrite to spit out some anger on......

    i love it

    rjd2 is top 5 producer

  • hiphop classic

  • HeAvY!

    damn i'm old.

  • when was this..?

where can i read about it or see the pictures

  • i barley found out about him today he is ill i swear

  • 'this is better than hiiip ... hooooop

     hiiiip... hoooooop'

  • You dont know how happy i am reading all of these comments that say exactly what i have been thinking the past 6 years or so :-D 5/5 once again for RJ

  • Copywrite is so sick in this song, it's one of the few old RJD2 songs where I wish the rapper actually spit more verses over his beat, because in most cases RJD2's beat would outshine the rapper.

  • I think this why 'June' is such a showcase track, RJ's beats can easily hold their own but he doesn't overpower Copywrite's delivery.

  • So smooth

  • Goddamn that guitar loop is fucking dope

  • dis is a bombass track

  • where is the guitar sample taken from??

  • Why wont MTV play stuff like this?!

    People need some educating,

    this is true hip-hop.

  • Because MTV and vh1 desensitized viewers to garbage mainstream rap where money is their only motivation.

  • One of the coolest hip hop song ever released...

  • best part about it is is that its produced by RJD2.

  • this beat makes me wanna drive in da city, look out the window, and reflect.

"In this for life until my final mic check is cashed" Sick

  • Very very heavy love how it kind of flows into different parts... like sailing down a river... this guy knows how to use samples.

  • who knew a hook with no words could be this fuckin ill.. goddamn rjd2 is the shit!

  • HIS ILLEST TRACK!

  • Amazing.

I dont know why but it makes you think.

  • Very dark track.

    ---DTown

    DK ALL DAY

  • this is amazing

  • I love this. Does anybody have the guitar chords for the instrumental part?

  • I would tell you, but i mean, come on man

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE FUCK GOOGLE IS?

  • first you would have to figure out where the sample is from.

then google that, but i doubt it would be there.

or just work it out yourself, it sounds pretty easy.

  • This is some sweet ass track

It makes me think about all the deep shit

  • This shit is fuckin' awesome

    RJD2 genius

  • Finally someone put this shit on, this song is fucking tight as hell.

  • i worship rjd2

  • this was on deadringer too

  • tight track dawg nice work rjd2 this shit is dank!!!!
