If you're reading this and trying to decide which one to go for then I'll give you a quick answer:
If you're simply looking to get some content out on to the web, be it a blog or a very basic website then consider Wordpress.
If your goal is to create a website with varied types of content which will be added to on a regular basis then go for Drupal (it will pay dividends once you beat the learning curve)
@SwitchRich (it will pay dividends once you beat the learning curve) : very true. even i am new to drupal , have used wp before. but i am in love with it.
Wordpress is a CMS but comparing Wordpress to Drupal is like comparing a calculator to computer system. If all you want to do is simple math, both do the job but a computer can do so much more. Likewise, if all you want to create is a blog, both do the job but Drupal can do so much more.
wordpress is not a CMS... its used mainly for blogging and thats what the developers of wordpress thought of when making it. Drupal and Joomla are the REAL CMS.
Wordpress IS a CMS, like any other blog, portal, board, photogallery system...It's just that WP is a blogging engine, Drupal is a portal, so, like edreel says, you can't compare them, so that video is a non-sense.
just look @ wordpress's modules. most of them are mostly used for blog entries. the modules and limited and don't even reach 1/4 of drupal or joomla's modules.
I agree. Wordpress is not really a CMS. It is best at blogging and has evolved to add certain functionality to sort of emulate a CMS but is not at its heart a CMS and will forever be limited by the fact that it was not initially designed as a CMS.
Drupal doesn't require coding skills to use or add modules. It does require you to know how to access your server to upload some things. But if you do have coding skills you can do almost anything.

neither use Joomla. Drupal is a joke and Wordpress isn't a CMS it's a blog tool, stated by the core team.

There is a big of learning curve but worth it.

Wordpress is a CMS
It manages Content.
Drupal is better for anyone with coding skills.

I'd say calling Wordpress a CMS is wrong, it's just a blog system.
Drupal is a real fullsite system.
