@deadmau5suckz How can music be "fake"? Is it an illusion? Am I high? Also, I'm not clear on how an abstract concept without mental capacity, such as music, can have a sexuality.
@deadmau5suckz No your shitty new age house music like Deadmau5 sucks. Looking at your channel, makes me think you must of put your brain through a woodchipper, and through some sort of tube mechanism put it back and somehow are still able to function. (Barely, considering all you do is go around YouTube commenting about how gay and fake techno is...)
Just to add my view to the comments below - I also use Youtube to find tracks I like before purchasing them on vinyl.. I personally don't feel like I own a tune until I have some plastic on my turntable.
ps - This is a deep track, it's amazing that mad Mike and UR can sustain the level of excellence they have for 20 years!
While there's no problem with a track being out for folks to hear...I'm pretty surprised at some of the anti-artist statements I'm reading on this. "I like your music, but don't be upset if I just take it"? There's a sense of entitlement in some of these comments that's just sad.
There's a line between sharing and exploitation, and it looks like some people here can't tell the difference.
And if you can't tell the difference between a hobby and a career, then there's no point talking!

ur right! this record is very political. but i guess every ur-release is political. for me the message is: detroit seems to be empty, with a lot of crime...and all those stereotypes - but there is still a lot of soul in it!

I wouldn't pay for this: this is not another UR bomb, very dissappointing by MAd Mike's standards. Mind you I think you'll never ever beat 'The Final Frontier' and that was UR03 I think...
wonder if mad mike would be happy to know this is on here. on one hand UR is all about technology and the spread of free info but on the other hand youtube us a corp selling all sorts of junk advertising. my guess is they wouldn't be happy this whole song is on here for free...just my 2 cents. gotta respect the artist.
yeah man ur right! i even think it´s not good that everyone post tracks, cause people put time in producing tracks and so they should get payed 4 it^^
well some poeple listen to the tracks and afterwards buy the vinyl... like me! besides.. music is ment to be shared in my opinion and musicians should make their money by performing (also my opinion)
Just most composer/producers DON'T get chances to play out. Therefore they would just always go hungry and be starving while you just go and enjoy the music they worked hard to make.
@uRDjInXeD they said that internet and the pirate downloding of music is killing themusic industry, so, that is true and we have to sopport that, we have to kill the industry, why?, becuase its a industry, they only mass produce noise that instead of music, that why exist pieces of sh$t like justin bieber or lady gaga, we have to destroy it, if we think about the theme, the only way that musician (the real ones like the UR or Underworld) get money trough the concerts. kill the music industry
Underworld??? They're a rock band doing all the exact things the music industry expects from a band like them. Throughout and real - I sincerly doubt it :)
@mikehumphries if they have bills to pay and cant afford paying them with music earnings alone there's nothing wrong with getting a job like the rest of the world. I make my own music too and share it with poeple i know for FREE (pm me if you want a download link)...guess what, i've got a job to pay my bills! Making music is all for fun and the love of music, not about getting payed, thats just a nice bonus in my opinion.
It's only the artist who has to decide if he wants to share his own music. U don't have to decide it for him. Sharing is beautifull, but we decide 4 ourselves, not 4 the others. It's just a matter of respect.
I like to do music in my home studio, but I don't like to perform live on stage for different reasons. Am I supposed to die 'cause I can't sell my music ?
You are talking about choice. It is your choice not to perform. Therefor your choice not to make money that way. It's all matter of respect! (quote) I do respect respect poeple's choice, I just dont expect them to complain if things don't work out as they had hoped, but then that's also their choice. And it's my conscious choice to have an opinion and share this. And if you are supposed to "die" then believe it or not this is a conscious choice you are making all by yourself.
@uRDjInXeD that statement is a bullshit cop-out in order to not pay $money
musician artist dont all perform ,some for different reasons
and musician/artist should be aloud to make a living with there GOD givin talent
just like any other persons profession especially independent musicians who have there own labels
just because BIG money nakin artist and record compnies have spoiled the business for years doesnt mean musician/artist dont deserve to make money on there talent
I think you misunderstand everything. Where do I say musicians don't deserve to make money with the music they make? I actualy state the complete opposite as do my actions!
@uRDjInXeD Correct, you can sometimes get better listens to a track on here than on music sellers websites, you can double check the whole release before parting with your hard earned !
I'm sharing the same vision. And extend it even to software meaning that first I try out the software and if it is useful, then I buy it. And I don't mean 30 day trials that suck S.
lots of my friends have got into this music through Youtube. They now have decks and are buying the records online. If Mike released a new record now they would go out and buy it.

I should know, as i present a weekly show called "Straight, fake or both" on MTV, probably!!!
