  • melhor trupetista do mundo

  • I find it as a well made thinking song.

  • Oh, for the mid 60's again, when all of the tv commercials had a "tijuana-esque" score, and Peter Max visuals. The soundtrack of an era.

  • When I took Folk and Square Dancing in college (Way back in summer 1975) This piece was used as accompaniment for one of the couples' dances we learned. Gosh that class was fun.

  • great music is timeless

    alan

  • I headbang to this shit!

  • Let's face it-every one of the TJB's songs can be a favorite, because they're all pretty darn good! Thanks for putting these tunes on here!

  • Some great memories...

  • I can just imagine someone like Hugh Hefner listening to this music and getting it on with like 5 girls haha

  • ULTIMATE Elevator music!

  • Probably my very favorite Alpert song.

  • am i the only 15 year old that listens to herb?, i think his music is the greatest sound ever, i've got 2 of his records

  • @millyandbuttons Glad to hear some of the young out there appreciate his stuff LOL - I know jazz ensembles seem to be fairly prevalent in high school music programs so I'm betting you can find others if you look. :) From his solo career - my personal favorite album of his is Fandango from 1982, but I haven't found it yet on CD.

  • @millyandbuttons - Now that you're 16, the answer is "Maybe!" And..."Possibly, nowadays!" When I was 15, I listened to Herb, but, on a turntable. Before that, I listened to it on the A.M. radio in my Dad's 1966 Chevy II SuperSport! Keep it going, my friend - keep great-old music alive! :)

  • @millyandbuttons I'm 16 and I am in love with it too!!

  • I'm dedicating this beautiful song to my special loved one--he really loved this song! Herb, you made my teenager take notice of your special music & for that, my hat is off to you! You & your band are very talented!

  • Love that mono

  • Holy moly... I SEE A HAPPY GREEN CHILE PEPPER DANCING AROUND WITH A SMILE ON HIS FACE !!!

    Hahahaha ... YEAH !

  • My brother got this album for his birthday. I wound up being the big Herb Alpert fan though because I was the only sibling out of 4 who actually stuck with the trumpet beyond the first few weeks of beginning band.

  • I love this song, Herb Alpert was introduced to me as a child. I'm grateful to my mother for having a variety of musical taste. I think this was one of his best albums, certainly my favorite. Jam on Herb!

  • elevator music

  • Does anyone do sophisticated instrumental music like this anymore?

  • bvb7589,

And that's all it is...a story.

  • A long time ago, I heard a story .....Herb Alpert had a child with a Mexican lady from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Many years later I heard the story again many times...the child in question was OSCAR DE LA HOYA!!!!!!. Joel De La Hoya doesn't look anything like Oscar...which keeps wondering......

  • One of the best albums of all times. Still as great today as it was then.

  • My Mom bought this album when I was about 10 in 1965 or 1966. It got played very often, we didn't have very many records in those days. But it is great music, and always reminds me of those times.

  • Happy Birthday Herb!!! (75) 3-31-2010

  • I swear this sounds like the music from the sims! :D

  • @weightfeather1 Yeah, it does sound like Bob Crewe Generation, doesn't it? Can't find Bob anywhere, though.
