Thank you for posting! This is truly wonderful video. I am just wondering how did you get this precious video? I didn't know about Hudecek, so I am very appreciative!
I did some research about Vaclav Hudecek, didn't have too much information on the Internet; but I found out that last four years or so in Oistakh' life until his death, he was Hudecek's teacher. He is fortunate to have a wonderful teacher. Hudecek's Tachvsky is so good. I listed Vengerov who is my favorite, but Hudecek's Tach is much articulate and beatiful. Looks like very natural even this concerto is very difficult. He is very handsome as well.
You should listen his Mendelssohn concerto, when he was young..there are so many recordings but this one is really soooo special!...honestly,I never heard better!
His Gipsy Airs (Zigeunerweisen) is so superb, not one plays like him. I love it. This video is so wonderful. Thank you for posting.
So, they must be speaking Russian. Corrent? Because Oistrakh Russian, he doesn't speak English, but is this Rumanian or some other launguage? beacause this is in Prague.
oh well, at the beginning he's just saying that it's very easy to work with Vaclav, he understands immediately what Oistrakh tells him... and then Oistrakh just tells him little details: not too fast here, more emotions there, etc...
Thank you for putting this on.
