@blooddlock There are european servers. If you live in Europe, there shouldn't be a problem with ping. Maybe your server filters are messed up and doesn't show most of the servers.

@LeafMaster510 If you are using F35b, then you can't dodge anything. With the other jets there are some simple abusive manouvers which players use in public and which can effectively decrease the amount of missiles that will hit you.

I don't rely on dodging so I can't tell you how to performs those manouvers.

I've been playing BF2 since 2005, and I still find the game horribly unbalanced in the flying-part of this game.

The rest is pretty well balanced. Just avoid the jet-maps. You will get spawnraped again and again by jetpilots with high ranks who fly 24/7 and think they are 'skillful' with the most overpowered thing in the whole game.

And yes, you have AA and other jets to counter that, but certain jet-types in this game are just too overpowered beyond limits.

I use them, but in patch 1.41 and 1.5 BETA it was total waste unless enemies were flying straight, you would just have created too much angle without doing any damage.

Check my patch 1.5 video, almost every kill is with mg's.

I have nothing to proove to you.

The purpose of this video was to demonstrate the "balance" between f35b and j10 in the patch beta, not to show off.

And flying against J10s have never required any skill. Most of them won't use camera, and that's why they have zero-chances in a fair 1vs1. I would say it is lot more difficult to fly in a J10 and fight against a good f35b pilot.

Just right-click and choose "Open with...", then from the "Other programs"-list choose Notepad or Wordpad. They can open those files perfectly.

But it's not only problem with j10 vs f35 ffs, THE F35 have to be hard to hit as well as THE ALL OTHER JETS (MEC jets and so on)

Seeing how good F18 is at dodging in 1.41 it might become a new "J10", just without the insane turning radius. Don't know if the hit registration fix had effect on all the planes.

But we will find soon how the things are with the other jets. I would be very pleased if all the lame-ass upside down loopings became useless in this patch.

I think that would be using fraps or another ingame recorder while watching the replay in battlerecorder.

To change the kill-messages and all the other texts as well you can edit the .utxt -files in your battlefield 2 Localization folder. It is quite simple, just like editing a text document. There are also several tutorials on the bf2 forums to teach you how to do it.

There are also some modified version available so you can just download them and replace the old files. I haven't used them so don't know the names. Google finds them for you :)

I took only a really short test to see how they managed to do it, and in my opinion the F35b missiles track J10s very well now in the final patch.

Don't know about the other patches but looks like the looping noobs aren't going to survive very long in the final patch. They can start expecting their KDRs to drop dramatically.
