He could still create great music with just FL Studio, but that would be very limiting and wouldn't allow him to fully express himself. I assure you that you will not be capable of recreating the synths to any of those tracks let alone the melodies and chords.

@SteelDogX You do know he doesn't come up with everything he makes right? He is sometimes told to used certain things to make a type of track. I think Ghosts-N-Stuff was one of those, although, that was amazing. It's kind of why I wish he wasn't on Ultra Records.
What I meant is he's been putting stuff online for free that he isn't ever going to release, I'm sure he comes up with most of his stuff, he said his record deal with Ultra was pretty laid back and that he can do whatever he wants basically in another interview, lets hope thats the case, he was probably told to add vocals in ghosts n stuff but I don't think they told him to do anything else with it. :)

Proof FL Studio isn't bad. If you know how to make great music, you can do great things in many DAWs. The only thing is FL Studio sounds bad with MOST (not all) of the default sounds and packs. That's why there's Vengance and others.

I'm using Logic and Reason at college, FL Studio at home, doesn't matter what you use, its how you use it and deadmau5 is just a straight up fucking genius, he makes music for music, not for money even to this day when he has over a million fans.... :D

@SteelDogX You do know he doesn't come up with everything he makes right? He is sometimes told to used certain things to make a type of track. I think Ghosts-N-Stuff was one of those, although, that was amazing. It's kind of why I wish he wasn't on Ultra Records.

What I meant is he's been putting stuff online for free that he isn't ever going to release, I'm sure he comes up with most of his stuff, he said his record deal with Ultra was pretty laid back and that he can do whatever he wants basically in another interview, lets hope thats the case, he was probably told to add vocals in ghosts n stuff but I don't think they told him to do anything else with it. :)

@MrJinxya I I wouldn't say he had "meth mouth," he had bad teeth. But it's very possible that he use to, or continues to use some stimulant drug. In some interviews he's really hyper, scratching and sniffing.

@CNSagent I get hyper when I talk and sometimes nervous, it could be from the cameras but i don't know for sure....I think MDMA use is alright but not abuse. Meth is dirty to me never tried it, I've tried cocaine though not as good as MDMA.

By the way, I was not implying that Joel was under the influence of an illicit drug during this interview.

My argument is speculation based and tell-tale signs. YOU have no argument. You're simply saying "Joel doesn't use illicit drugs."
At the very least, the itching and hyperactivity could be from excessive caffeine consumption, and his weight and the sniffing could be from smoking cigarettes.

@CNSagent Just for everyone's clarification, He is not a drug addict, and he's literally rofling of the stupidity that bursts on the internet everytime someone claims he's on drugs, however, he does drink a ton of coca cola, and so do I.. And I'm frequently asked if i'm a drug addict, so yeah.. hyperactivity can cause a more healthy mirage of drug effects :) But it's still not the same.. Joel is a hyperactive person, NOT a drug addict.

Nevertheless, as I said before, I never intended to label Joel as an "addict" -- although, I personally don't find the term insulting. I also support and advocate legalization and regulation of most currently prohibited psychoactive drugs.

Proof FL Studio isn't bad. If you know how to make great music, you can do great things in many DAWs. The only thing is FL Studio sounds bad with MOST (not all) of the default sounds and packs. That's why there's Vengance and others.
