I personally do not blame Turkey or Turkish players. They did what they did, and i'm sure Turcan or whatever his name is did not intentionally mean to break the basic rule of the game. FIBA and its referee's need to be thoroughly checked, not just regarding this obvious call, but with the entire game as a whole. It was one of the most one sided games from a refereeing point of view i have ever seen in basketball, and i'v been watching this sport for the past 15 years.

I uploaded this video because the truth needs to be heard. Thank god Tolis recorded this and we can all see what really happened.

This game was a parody and a shame for the world basketball. Fictional fouls against Serbians, no fouls in favor of the Turkish. The referees weren't just bad, they had a plan. A plan to help Turkey to go to the finals because FIBA had economic interests on that and so did the referees.

Turkey had a good team, a great (and civilised) crowd but didn't deserved to win.

I take it you didn't actually watch the game. The refereeing in this contest was quite disgraceful. As for how Turkey cheated. Well, let's see... a sub 40% foul shooter faking an eye injury when the replay showed he wasn't touched...writhing on the floor in agony and then seen smiling on the bench not 5 minutes later. In a game decided by 1 point, getting ringers to shoot foul shots for you is quite endemic of the "gamesmanship" used by Turkey and rewarded by FIBA.
