I am proud to be part of a tribe that has fought for there right's and that gained the respect of the native nation. As a descendant of Crazy Horse I will all way's take pride in my people.
I love all Native American music but this song is both haunting, inspiring and very beautiful. Just wish it was longer. :) I live in Lakota land so thank you for posting this beauty.
@ItsCaine There was a "making a relation" ceremony for my Norwegian great-great-grandmother and her sponsor was Sitting Bull. That sort of makes us cousins, doesn't it?
the great spirt will one day restore everything in it's proper place and all the races will meet under the tree of life. Untill that day most of the great tribes of all colors will forget who they are, with the exception of the keepers. The keepers will lead those who are lost to the tree of life as it has been told to me by the thunder beings.
brings the memories and the peace and smile are people once had before the wachi chu had come and nop is destroyed by one and many . my tears shed for the mother earethon her heart
Father thank you for breath of life, earth, shelter, clean water and enough food. Spirit direct my feet upon the narrow way, fill this body with Your purpose, resolute selflessness, unconditional love, help these hands be good stewards of the land on which we are blessed to live. Please consume the 'me' completely until the only thing left is You.

Peace be unto our enemies, for they walk and are heedless that they are feeble; encompassed by the great cosmic dark of the Milky Way.
Peace be unto our enemies, for they shall die like Epicureans, and never give thanks for the earth their feet embrace.
Peace be unto our enemies, for they are already dead, and their bodies lay embalmed to be examined.
Peace be unto our souls; for we will never surrender, we live or we die, and God is our witness.

Starrydaze, I love every photo you include in this video! I love the sound of the flute so much. I always wish I know how to play flute, but I'm not that fortunate. Hope one day I can play this instrument! I love this kind of life so much, very peaceful!
