You can still see a few of those old Pup-n Taco locations being used as other restaurants. There's one on Reseda Blvd in Granada Hills--you can tell by the shape of the sign. It's a Mexican take out place now, I think.
There's some old Pioneer Chicken locations still being used as other restaurants, too! In Buena Park there's one and you can see the shape of the covered wagon but now it says "Chinese Food". Makes me feel slightly old!

They still have a Bun Taco at the Del Taco in Barstow that's off the 15 on the way to Vegas (next to the outlet mall). They also have the tostadas that the rest of the Del Tacos quit making.

Oh, Pup N Taco. My old location at Gardena Blvd & Western Avenue in Gardena, CA. It later became a Taco Bell when Taco Bell bought out Pup N Taco :(
