THAT'S what it is. Everything that a cover should be, in my humble opinion. A swing of its own, a respectful nod to the original, and a piece which adds to the commonwealth of music. I'm an absolute Hendrix head, but I know that this gives me a sense of new possibilities within this great song. Beautiful in every way.
