during the same year, geddy switched to a steinberger L series bass for some odd reason, i don't know why he switched but if someone can enlighten me on why he stopped using the rick in 1983 it would be a big help to me, thanks
@TheBlackbirdplayer7 I recall in an interview in Guitar Player mag in 1986 that with the increase of his synths and mic stands all over he was looking for something that he was less prone to hit things with his bass when playing live, and the lack of head stock on the Steinberger helped with that.
