  • Must we always assume speed equals quality here? Though I respect this ability- it still take the musical ship into a very black hole of none quality. Must we always reached the end of the metronome? I've heard more slower and DRIVIER versions of this done by Kenny Baker who plays this slower so you can acutally HEAR what he is doing- he has better audience retention and bowing from note to note. Slower would be more interesting. WAY TOO FAST FOR QUALITY OR EVEN DRIVE! Speed doesn't equal drive.

  • That's wha tyou call bluegrass speed. ;-)

  • I think it's a fairly tough tune. I could never play it this fast.

  • I heard Steve Kaufman tell a story last year about recording a song on his album with Bobby Hicks (it might have been this one). He said he had to warm up for 3 1/2 hours just to be able to play it as fast Bobby.

  • Way too fast.

  • HOW DO YOU SPELL FIDDLE[bOBBY hICKS]

  • Amazing!! I love it!

  • nice job on a deceptively tough piece

  • So it just sounds really hard? It's not that difficult of a piece to learn with some good training?
