  • Just heard Mss Neal died Sunday of cancer... God bless her. And grant her peace....I just loved her acting...

  • Why not Best Supporting Actor Bobby Darin. Melvyn Douglas got later another (deserved) Oscar, but Darin's mental ill performance in 'Captain Newman,MD' -saw it again here on YT - was really, really outstanding, especially his remembrance scene in the hospital bed. Respect!

  • + Stan Laurel Honorary Award

  • Here's my choice for best picture nominations (*=my winner):

Cary Grant was impeccable in all his movies. he had so much elan it did not seem like he was even acting; He was!

They rarely give the award to romantic comedy, Charade was in a class by itself, as was it stars Cary Grant, and the sublime Audrey Hepburn.
