Check out this Two-Face fan film on my page. Is it just me or does this dude look like Christian Bale? The guy is playing Two-Face in his own fan film and looks real similar to Bale.. Kinda weird since Bale plays Batman.
Seems to me like this is more of a failure of the Director and crew to control a volatile situation. Exhaustion, emotion and frustration are obviously the motivating factors. I blame EVERYONE else on set for not handling the situation better.
tbh I can see both sides of this argument. If an actor is pouring everything they have into an intense role, they are going to be pissed off when they reach their peak if someone is ruining the shot. They have to channel al their negative emotions to play a role like this. A good director knows this and will keep the set on lock down whilst the actor is performing. BUT the DP needs to be on set to adjust the lights and stuff, and this normally happens between takes.
The really fucked up part is the fact that the poor guy was repeatedly attempting to apologize and all Bale does is shout "NO! SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU PRICK!"

Filming a movie is filled with very long days and it's demanding to nail a scene with the right conviction. You have no clue whether it was only one or two scenes that were interrupted, that's simply your assumption. Also it's not the lights and the set that makes the movie, it's the actors. Nobody cares if the director of lighting was "disrespected." I just want to see a good film. This outburst should never have been even released in the first place. That's the real issue, why this got leaked in the first place.

What people don't realize is that he says right in his rant that the guy had done this a few times already. Filming a movie is filled with very long days and it's demanding to nail a scene with the right conviction. If some asshole kept walking up to me while I'm wiring a house and then rips the wiring out when I'm almost done I would probably just hit him.

I understand being an actor takes a lot of concentration, and no distractions, but there is absolutely no reason that anyone should be spoken to such a disrespectful manner. Christian Bale is paid millions to do his movies, I'm sure that one or two scenes being disrupted isn't going to be critical to the making of batman, which it obviously wasn't since it was a fantastic movie. That still doesn't excuse christian, and if he is so professional, why is he the one out bursting like a child?

You have no clue whether it was only one or two scenes that were interrupted, that's simply your assumption. Also it's not the lights and the set that makes the movie, it's the actors. Nobody cares if the director of lighting was "disrespected." I just want to see a good film. This outburst should never have been even released in the first place. That's the real issue, why this got leaked in the first place.
